Hey, this was supposed to say something like "Knicks whoop GS in a New York minute @4:30 FSN" or something. But anyway, PS everyone -- the game is at 4:30 PST for those derranged enough to actually watch it (me).

Biedrins has not been good lately, on offense and defense. I really think he looks tired (not surprising given what he's been asked to do this year). 3 fouls in 7 minutes played, ouch.

Well, Eddy Curry is 5th in the league in free throw attempt per game, so it's unsurprising he's accumulating these fouls so early on.

Knicks up 54-48 at the half. I think we're going to win this one since we're at home. We just need to sustain this same energy on both ends of the court.

Looks like Jason's bitter at Montay's newfound ball-hogging. I would be too. The kid needs to look to get others involved more.

Richardson was simply awful tonight. Horrible shooting night and the Knicks backcourt exploded for something like a combined 50.

Is he still trying to find his niche on the team?

I just got home. Good thing I missed the game. Ugh!

If Sac wins tonight, we'll have sole possession of last place in the Pacific and move up a draft place ahead of the Kings [IMG].

What's crazy to me is how bad the Knicks suck a$$. I mean damn, sure they beat the Warriors tonight, but the Warriors are without Baron Davis and Stephen Jackson, plus the Warriors suck too. But wow, you'd figure with their GINORMOUS team salary they could have found SOMEBODY decent to build around. David Lee looks like he's going to be good, and Curry is pretty solid in what he can do. But the Knicks have over TWICE the payroll of the Warriors -- Golden State has a team salary of $65 mils while New York has a whopping $139 mils -- just goes to show you can't buy championships. It just looks awkward being a knick -- the chemistry is all funky.

This was a game between two horrible-looking teams tonight.

    Time to watch college ball

Of all the seasons I've been following the warriors, this has been the most disappointing.

How many times have they been blown out by 20+ this season? It's not really the win-loss record but how they're losing. It's pathetic, and the sad thing is that they aren't tanking on purpose.

Nothing in particular, he just would pass the ball to anyone other than Ellis, and try to break down players and force shots just to get a few attempts. Watch the last 2 quarters, you'll see it.

Well Jason can't complain, he doesn't dribble or shoot free throws as well as Ellis. LOL. I love Jason, I think his contract is good, but man we need to find better players to mask some of these guys' flaws. If the team was reliant on Baron Davis to score, then they need a guy like Ellis more than ever. And he's still learning how to play point and it will take time I think. It's not a natural thing for guys to be point unless they think 3 moves ahead. Baron is that guy, but can he ever play more than 72 games in a season? For a guy with an NFL type body, he'd never make it there. He's not even making it in basketball if he can't avoid the injuries.

Is it the trainer? I think not. I think it's just Baron and his disagreeable body.

Wow.... i think the most disappointing moment was seeing on espn that the Warriors had just traded Mitch Richmond for a glob of glue. And then feeling completely deflated and empty and betrayed when i find out Nelson has traded Chris Webber our all star of the next decade to the Bullets.... the guy that just a few short months before that had taken us to the playoffs did this ridiculous behind the back dunk on barkley.... and sprewell was young, dominanat and tireless.

And then it was all taken away.

13 years of ineptitude is nothing compared to the way i felt those two days. It would almost be as bad if i was to read Ellis and AB get traded. That is what scares me the most about Nelson..... he could do it again!!!

Sarunas looked pretty darn good tonight at point.... I LOVE the fact that Nellie is playing Powell and Beans together, those two seem to play well together, and because Powell can hit the outside J, they don't crowd eachother on O. It's a good tandem, dammit!

What happens when Baron comes back? Whatever it is, it'll have nothing to do with interior defense and rebounding. I mean, he's the man, but he needs a few finishers who can catch and dunk. Harrington is NOT that type of player. He catches it and then gets rid of it like a hot potato before he gets swatted.

I think Nellie has NOTHING to lose playing Powell at PF from here on out. He's young, and not one of the 5 best players on the team, but deserves to be in the starting 5 just because we are SO lacking at PF. At least he has good hands and a strong body, and will be ready to catch a dump-off from Baron for a jam.

I mean, Harrington was on FIRE tonight from outside... great, so play SF and be an all-star... I have no problem if he loses 20 pounds and becomes starting SF.... but every time your PF takes an OUTSIDE shot it means he's not INSIDE to boxout, putback or rebound. What's worse, because he's an outside shooter, even when it's not his play Harrington can still often be found camping out on the three line, a place you DO NOT want your power players to be. At least Powell will hang around the basket and try to create some activity, be it a tipped shot, deflection, rebound, box-out, or at least make his presence physically felt.

    Sarunas
    Monta
    Az
    Powell
    Biedrins

    I like that 5

Man, I'm glad I wasn't following the Warriors when that happened. I started following the Warriors the season that Sprewell choked Carlisimo.
