me and my firend were discussing next years draft and wondering what a good, yet possible / reasonable draft would be for us. he said that it would be good if we got roy hibbert to replace shaq and zo, who will both likely retire in the next couple of years. i said that as a second round pick i would like jared jordan as a hidden gem. this is probably coming from my bias towards marist because my sister will be going there next year, but i do think he could be a good back to the aging j-will and payton.

    your thoughts / suggestions:

Roy Hibbert is easily going to be a top ten pick if he leaves after this season which is unlikely IMO. We need to bring in a young PG who can learn under Jason Williams. Maybe Acie Law could slip down to us in the late teens. He's a great scorer who can play tough defense as well. As for big men I think Aaron Gray will be there when we pick so we do have a lot of options. This year's class is very deep.

The PG crop is really weak this year, with Acie Law being the best available player. I don't if he slips to us, but it's possible seeing as Marcus Williams and Jameer Nelson have both slipped in 20's in recent years.

I'm not really a huge Gray fan. He's not mobile enough for my liking or good enough at putting the ball down in the post for my liking.

Acie Law, Alando Tucker, Jemareo Davidson and Sean Williams (troublesome, but good for a 2nd round pick if we can get one) are all players I like in a Heat uniform.

Those are great picks. Tucker is a true scorer and that's something we need. Also, I like the idea of tading into the second round for Williams. He is a lot like Zo with his incredible shot blocking aiblity.

    My wish list is:
    1. Acie Law
    2. Alando Tucker
    3. Sean Williams(in the second round though)

Haven't heard much of Davidson..where does he play?

^Alabama. He's a good college player, but he's not athletic enough to make up for his slender frame.

Maybe Aaron Afflalo if he comes out? He could be a solid backup for Wade or maybe we get lucky and Corey Brewer falls to us.
