Personally, as much as i want the lakers to beat the hell out of the suns 'Again' LOL, it wont happen... we dont have lamar who is our best player against phoenix... why? because no one on the phx roster can matchup to him Thoughts...
Even if we did have Lamar, it would be VERY hard to beat the Suns on the ROAD. Let's see, we're without Lamar, Luke, Evans, and Radmanovic, so I'm not going to be butthurt if we lose tomorrow, it's expected. If we win, it would be amazing and a very nice surprise. The Suns aren't a team where we would benefit from Kobe scoring a lot, but thank god Kwame is back, we could use him against Stoudamire. I'm interested to know the line for tomorrow's game. I honestly would not be surprised to see the Suns -8 or -9, maybe even higher, seriously.
If our defense can step up, everything can happen. One thing is sure, we won't over score them. (Last year's G7 vs Suns).
will walton play tonight? I am thinking, who will replace Odom? Maybe Kobe will move to SF, and Sasha takes the starting spot at SG. Parker Vujacic Bryant Cook Bynum
You know, I love how this team plays without Lamar, I think we just mesh better. I wouldn't be surprised if we did shop him this offseason, because we played well earlier this year without him and we have been hanging around Phoenix. This game is giving me some hope against them in the playoffs if we do match up, again. We've hung with them and played great defense all game long, we've countered them and held them from going on a run. Win or lose, this is one of the best games we've played all year!
I don't get why Sasha disappears when it matters. He's a smooth shooter, but he can't nail anything when it matters for the most part.

Sasha also hit 2 three pointers that were huge for us in the 4th, and it would have been 3 if we didn't get the 3 seconds call. Good game by the Lakers, I wasn't expecting a win,, but they went out fighting tonight, proud of them. Considering we're without 4 of our best players, I think we did pretty damn good.
Overall, we played a pretty good game, it's just that some of our shots didn't fall in the end. I never really expected this game to be so close, I was actually thinking the Lakers would get blown out since we are without so much of our key players. Instead, we had a great chance of winning the game, if only a couple of shots had fallen through. I'm really impressed with our defense though. We held the Suns under 100 points after giving up 116 to the Kings on Friday. Even though the Suns came out with the win, you can really tell they worked their butts of for it. I'm pretty sure the Suns wouldn't want to face us in the playoffs this year.
LAL put up a fine performance today on the road; they should be proud. I knew Cook would play better without Odom; he's got potential (and I've been preaching a bit about his PT this year) and provides that shooter we desperately need. The Lakers still have a shot in the west if they can focus their chemistry, get Luke back, and all that nonsense.
