I know its probably too early to speculate, but here are few obvious moves i feel BC will making in the offseason.

    1. Graham will be traded...... Guaranteed.
This was his year to prove himself, he hasnt done that. Considering the fact that guys like Gerald Green, and Granger are major contributors on their respective teams.

    2. Dixon might be traded ..... We need a bigger combo guard that could slash and post up other combo guards/guards...

    3. Rasho might be traded..... We need a more aggresive rebounder. Athletic and bigger that can also shoot a midrange jumper.

    4. MoPete will be resigned.... BC will have no choice than to offer Mopete another 3yrs 15million contract.... Mopete cavn shoot the threes and would fit in on the bench.

    5. SOW and Tucker..... BC might keep these two guys around for PRACTICE purposes.. We need hardworking guys like these two for practice...

    6. SAM MITCHELL.... Depending on the performance in the playoffs, Sam's future will be evaluated on the post-season performance. He's had 3yrs to better his coaching skills for the regular season.
Something tells me, HE WILL BE BACK with the raps...

    7. Slokar and Humphries.... Slokar will stay with the raps. Kris might be packaged with Dixon for a second big man in case we keep RAsho. IF Rasho goes down, we need another big body down below.

    8. The main Core guys that will be around for next season: TJ, AP, Bosh, Garbo, Jose, Bargs. and maybe RAsho or Mopete.. So we could be looking at new 6 players next season folks.

That would make one hell of a busy off-season. I don't know if I see all that stuff happening but here it goes:

I don't think there is any reason to believe Tucker is going anywhere. He's a prospect and that's it right now, getting rid of him would just mean getting similar talent in return. Sow on the other hand is having his contract expire at year end I'm not sure where BC is going to go with that one. Again he's a project and still really raw at this point.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">3. Rasho might be traded..... We need a more aggresive rebounder. Athletic and bigger that can also shoot a midrange jumper.</div>
Doubt we're going to see this. He has 2 years left on his deal at 8 mil a season. No team is going to want to take that on.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">4. MoPete will be resigned.... BC will have no choice than to offer Mopete another 3yrs 15million contract.... Mopete cavn shoot the threes and would fit in on the bench.</div>
I'm half way with you on this one. On the one hand Peterson is a player who fits well in Colangelo's system and doesn't cost much money. On the other hand we could take Mopete's cap space + some more money and look for a swingman to help our offense. Something like Petrius might do the deal, although I'm not sure if we'd be willing to spend that much.

I tend to agree with you on these ones, especially Graham. The thing is we get rid of these guys were not getting anything super back in return. Colangelo might prefer to hold on to them as well and just let their contracts expire at the end of 07-08.

    My predictions:

    1. Italian Conspiracy: Raps somehow end up with Marco Belinelli by the end of draft day.
    2. Colangelo will continue to lure talent away from Europe through free agency.
    3. Ukic's rights get traded away to another team who will exercise them before they expire.

Yea, I don't see us making that many moves. We have a pretty solid core and Colangelo might be hesitant to mess up with that chemistry too much. Here's what I think:

    1) We trade Joey Graham. I think this is inevitable. He hasn't really developed and I think we'll cut our losses with him. I see him leaving in a package for a late 1st rounder or in a trade for another team's failed prospect (like the Hoffa-Humphries trade).

    2) We acquire a 1st round pick. This is too good a draft to miss out on and Colangelo's shown a knack for picking outside the lottery. I think we move an expendable part, maybe an expiring contract (Juan Dixon) for a pick.

    3) We sign-and-trade Peterson or let him go. Anthony Parker's come in and basically brought everything that he used to and Peterson's only role in Toronto may be coming off the bench. Despite that, I see some teams offerring him a starting spot and more money than Colangelo would be willing to give up. However, this is a pretty difficult issue to read. Peterson could just as easily stay here for the comfort level or Colangelo might feel he's a "glue guy" that is worth overpaying for a little.

    4) We let Sam Mitchell go. There's a little personal bias playing into this prediction, but I think Mitchell will expose himself towards the end of the season (even if it doesn't directly translate into losses) and definitely in the playoffs. I also have no doubt that Colangelo kept Mitchell this season with a clear replacement in his head from the get-go, so if his confidence wavers I can see him biting the bullet and replacing him.

I'm not willing to predict who we draft, because I'm not sure what position we'll be in or if we'll even have a pick. I think the Raps have already given up on Roko (what with Calderon's emergence), but I'm not sure how much value he holds around the league. Boston might be a little interested, because Ainge almost drafted him a couple years ago. I also think Colangelo/Gherardini scour through the European ranks, although I'm not sure how much talent there is left after the last two offseasons. The tougher problem surrounding Jose Calderon will probably be figured out around next year's trade deadline.
