Who do you think the most underrated player in the NFL. Mine is Adrian Wilson SS Arizona Cardinals- He had 108 tackles 1 interception and 8 SACKS!!!!!! He did all this without reaching the pro bowl
Tiki Barber hands down. Every year people say he is this age and he isnt gong to do anything. Over the last three years every year he has had more yards then the last. He is one of the best catching RB's in the league. He blocks very well, not to mention he carried the giants to the playoffs last year.
Drew Brees @ QB Rudi Johnson @ RB Chris Chambers @ WR Adalius Thomas @ DE for Baltimore.... 9 sacks and over 80 tackles! Wow!
For the Packers, it's Nick Barnett. In his first three years, he's averaged over 100 tackles per season, 2 sacks, 2 ints and 2 fumble recoveries. He'll be a Pro Bowler soon. He's improved statistically every year and I think the presence of A.J. Hawk will probably make him even better. I don't know what I'd say for the entire NFL. That stat line on Adrian Wilson is insane. And I've always felt that Barber hasn't gotten the credit he's deserved. I'd agree with either selection.
Jimmy smith was probably there before he retired. His old partner was there for a while too. Mccardell
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Steelerfan_2005)</div><div class='quotemain'>Rudi Johnson @ RB</div> ha yea okay, anyone can get 3 yards a carry in the NFL these days bresides ron dayne. Rudi is overrated every game i see him play hell break a 5 yard gain by bulldozing someone and then the next play he'll choose the wrong hole and he wont do jack crap.

All i heard going into the first playoff game between the panthers and giants all i heard about is how Tiki Barber couldnt be stopped, and how good he was. In the charlotte observer they ran like 3 or 4 articles on how the panthers are going to have to stop Barber to win.
Trent Green. His career got off to a brutally slow start, but he hung in there and his last four years in Kansas City have been very productive. I know that a lot of people probably think that his success is just the product of the system, but that doesn't give Green enough credit for making things work with the crappy WR corp that the Chiefs usually field. The Chiefs really need to get that defense fixed before the sun finally sets on Green's career.
Michael Vick, I mean come on the way that nobody ever talks about him in any way and with the monster stats he's put up the last few years he's gotta take it. = Sarcasm
asfar as underrated players there are quite a few... i am going to have to say the most underrated player is warrick dunn..
I'd have to agree with SF with Chris Chambers. He had some good games but since Miami was overlooked because of their division rival Patriots. But this year might be Miami's and Saban's season.

The truth is he has been a top 10 running back since 2000. But becuiase of his size and the offensive "genius" of Jim Fassel he was often shadowed by Thunder and lightning BS and etc.
Hines Ward.... Didn't get his respect until just a little bit ago. I always thought he was an elite wideout.
Paul, 2 years ago i wouldve agreed with you. but after this past year, i havent heard anything bad about Barbers performances.
i disagree. ive never under estimanted Curtis Martins running ability. he gets all of the right attention
Curtis Martin is a great candidate. To prove that Zack doesn't have a monoply on bias, I am going to say Z Thomas. If he's not underrated then he does not get the positive press he deserves. Nothing against Urlacher or Ray Lewis but Z Thomas is the man.

He gets his sacks without cheating like strahan, but since he is in miami doesnt get he pub
