My most under rated guy would be Lance Johnstone

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (nflfan04)</div><div class='quotemain'>i disagree. ive never under estimanted Curtis Martins running ability. he gets all of the right attention</div>
he gets absolutely no attention for how great a player he is

4th in history in rushing and i dont think i've ever heard the media talking about him... Bettis is 5th and gets a ton of attention

Does lance johnstone even play anymore.... the comment about rudi johnson was stupid and ignorant, he broke corey dillons single season rushing mark two years ago and then broke his own mark last year so basically youre saying corey dillon is no good either, and tiki hasnt been a top running back the last four years last year was his and the giants break out season...

just saying to you all underrated means they don't get enough respect in the league from the media and the fans.... Tiki gets a lot of respect, Tory Holt, Derrick Brooks, Ronde Barber, Keith Brooking, Drew Brees everyone knows those guys are good they are some of the elite players in the leauge they arent overrated or underrated they are all known as great players. its hard to get publicity as much as TO does but what abour Brooks and Barber doing the Bucs superbowl year, i didnt stop hearing about them. You didnt hear the end of Brees a few years ago... it doesnt make sense to call those guys underrated

ignorance, No, observation yes. The truth of the matter is corey dillon had what 2 good seasons? So yea Im saying Dillon is pretty garbage, plus a spoiled punk.

Tiki Barber has been catching and rushing for the Giants consistently while Rudi was being stopped for three yeard losses by an average Jets defense last year.

Rudi is a Bettis type runner, no speed, no athleticism. he has never had a run more then 55 yards.

He is "Underrated" because quite honestly he is just an average NFL back.

Yes, Johnstone plays. He is underrated, but I don't think his talent level warrants him to be the most underrated player in the league.

As far as C. Martin is concerned, the guys gets a lot of press, and its always the same stuff. The press coverage always talks about how no one is talking about Curtis Martin and how he is 'quietly' doing his thing. I would say he gets about the same media coverage as Bettis, although Bettis may have gotten a bit more last year due to the Super Bowl run.

Tiki is not underrated, the guy gets a lot of attention. He'd get even more attention if he didn't have the buttery finger complex that he had early in his career.

So who is the most underrated? I'd give my vote for David Carr. The kid is a good QB who is behind a horrible offensive line. Lots of talent, and if they ever fix that line I think we'll see him stand out as a good QB.

he didnt even hit 750 yards this year. Granted he had only 200 or so carries but he averaged 3.5 yards a carry. He had a good year 2 years ago but nayone could have ran behind that O-Line in 04. He has had 3-4 great seasons, he has turned into a bowling ball iwthout the force.

I can and I will [IMG]

I think McNabb is a joke, he cant stay healthy, I think hes a choke artist, and I just dont like him.

Dillon plays well only verses bad defenses and during the regular season.

He's not a joke. He's a good QB, just not great in my opinion. I think he chokes in big games as most do.

Ok well you just proved how ignorant you are by saying you can expect a guy who's injured to put up the same stats that he would if he were uninjured

Peyton Manning chokes every year in the big games. Do you think he's "great?" Or just "good?"

no, but frequently injured players like mcnabb shouldnt be excused because they are hurt alot.

    Good players get injuries

The Best Players avoid them, so under your theory Kurt warner is a better player then Quarterback XYZ because Although XYZ leads his team ad plays decent Kurt Warner isnt the same because of inuiries.

Mcnabb doesnt throw more 50 tds in a season nor will he ever, and if his line didnt bail on him in the AFC championship game this would be a lot diffeent of a conversation about him.

McNabb doesn't put up the numbers Manning does. Last year was Manning's first year with a defense. McNabb has had one around him every until I believe last year.

So you guys don't think that McNabb's numbers would improve to Peyton type levels if he had Reggie Wayne, Marvin Harrison, Edgerrin James and the Colts O-Line on the field with him?

I would venture to say that he would not put up those numbers. Part of the reason the Colts are such an offensive powerhouse is Manning's ability to exploit defenses in ways that only an offensive coordinator can dream of - no other QB in the league has that ability.
