What superstars that you absolutely can't stand? Whether it be the person, their game, or the hype. Do not mention Kobe or Wade. LeBron: I find his game to be absolutely boring, same with his dunks. He does the same dunk over and over again, and every time he does it I have to see it 15 times on Sportscenter. Compared to last year, I think he's regressed. He seems more selfish this year and not as smart. There has been a lot of articles around that he's trying to get Brown fired. Nash: I've expressed my views on him before. Carmelo: I liked him when he came into the league, but now he's just a punk. If he can change his attitude, then I'll have no problem with him. Tim Duncan: I don't mind him, I just think his style of play is absolutely boring.
I don't like LeBron anymore. The league treats him better than the veteran stars who have acctually won a ring/proved something and have more fans than him. How many gamewinners has the guy hit now? 1? Those witness the truth ads or whatever = pathetic.
I do like how the LeBron hype is dying down. I've seen a lot of negative articles about him this year. Finally, we as fans can stop being forced to deep throat him and every thing he does.
In terms of the way they play the game, I guess Carmelo. I don't know if he qualifies as a "superstar" though. He barely made the allstar team. It still baffles me how anyone can dislike Steve Nash.
Statistically, he deserved to be there. His image and attitude holds him back a lot in this league. If he can change that, he'll have no problem getting respect from voters and the coaches.

Should we tell him to stop playing so well so that others can have a chance? I'm sorry but that logic is stupid. Hate the NBA or whoever makes those decisions. Not Nash.
Well, one of the players I dislike goes without saying. I really don't like Rasheed Wallace (he made the ASG last season, so I think he counts). He's always whining and harrassing the refs and then plays victim. Plus, I think his game is overrated. Don't really like Vince Carter, although I don't hate him like I did when he left. It just annoys me how he coasts through every season doing the bare minimum (the fact that its still good just shows how good he should be). And I think Ron Artest needs to be kicked out of the league. He's an embarrassment.
LeBron is getting cocky, and I don't like that. Not that I hate him or anything, though. I've always disliked Nash since his early days in Dallas. Don't know why. He's an excellent player, a great playmaker and a leader, but I just seem to dislike him for some reason. Zo'(see: betrayal)
I thought this thread would be filled with Gilbert Arenas haters, lol. I don't like Dwyane Wade because of the treatment he gets from the refs and after last year's playoff series, I also hate LeBron James.
I dislike Nowitzki because he is the main problem for the Suns in the PO's . I also dont like he's game nad also Cuban treats him like a child, well, but that's Cuban's problem.

I DISLIKE him, not HATE him (and durvasa said "It still baffles me how anyone can dislike Steve Nash"; thus I retorted appropriately). It's a natural reaction after having to listen the MVP race the last three years. I never said the guy was rude or anything.

There's a difference, and it's the latter which makes no sense to me. Nash is a great teammate, he's humble, he's fun to watch, he's well-spoken, and he's just a great player in general. I don't get how anyone can dislike him. I can understand not liking all the praise he draws, though.

Allen Iverson...............Great scorer, repulsive whiner, ballhog & loser. Doesn't play good defense and can only be effective when jackin up 30+ shots a night. Manu Ginobli...........The guy is SO overrated it's disgusting. He has his occasional highlight, but it seems like he does that same damn move everytime. Plus he's made the ALL NBA Flop team every year he's been in the league. Congradulations Manu! <div class="quote_poster">durvasa Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">So, do you dislike the overexposure/overrating/hype from the media, or do you dislike him. When he gives back an MVP trophy or two, I'll become a fan. Until then, I just respect the way he plays the game. In comparison, I also hate Shaq, but I always recognize that he got robbed of some MVPs. Off topic: For example, in football, I recognize that Champ Bailey is the best Corner in the game, but he shouldn't have gotten first place votes for the DPOY, because he simply is not as important as other defensive players (3-4 LBs for example). I know Nash is a top ten player, but he's not an MVP.
