Ben Roethlisberger could possibly be put up there, however he has a case to fight i with since he played stellar throughout the playoffs until the Superbowl.

Vick by far....and the all-time overrated was Joe Namath....a guy that had a below average career who's famous for "winning" Super Bowl 3 and legitmizing the AFC, but in reality, he didnt excell in that game....this guy being in the HOF is the biggest joke ever....

McNabb played almost the whole year with a sports hernia the guy is tough and def. not over rated at all and i wont say vick is yet either he still helps that team win, the barry sanders suggestion boggled me because he couldve easily have broken paytons record but chose not to (unlike smith)

I'm surprised no1 said Brady. lol

For awhile I would've said Pennington, but his value has plummeted. I think you could say Rex Grossman was overrated last year as the savior to all of the Bear's offensive woes.

Win what? The so-called most dangerous weapon in the NFL couldn't even get his team into the playoffs last year. Michael Vick is easily the most overrated player in the NFL and that's an INDISPUTABLE Truth! [IMG]

I dont think vick is the most dangerous weapon at all its just teams have to play the falcons different when hes playing (remember the year he was injured???) and with what they have on offense right now he is the best fit. Once they get better wide outs i think Shaub will be better for them but until then its Vick

I don't think Vick would put up elite quarterback numbers even if he was throwing to Randy Moss, T.O, Marvin Harrison and Antonio Gates in the same offense.

    Okay, maybe then he would...

I think Lavar Arrington is a little overrated, same with Charles Woodson. But defintely not as much as Vick

I dont think he would either i think if they got a good wideout shaub should be the quarterback but when alge crumpler is your most dangerous reciever, you need vicks legs to get you some points

If so, does this make all players in the HOF who never won the Super Bowl overrated?

Now now, lets not compare apples to oranges. Marino was awesome but he pretty much always had a lackluster team around him. Manning had a team last year that could have gone undefeated, had home field advantage throughout the playoffs, and a Super Bowl in a dome and he still choked like the inbred, corn fed mo fo he is. Just look at the shape of the guy's head. How can brilliance come in that package? The '05 Colts were one of the best teams I've ever seen play and they didn't even win a playoff game. If they had Marino in his prime you bet your ass they would have won XL.
