<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Here's a sight for sore ankles: Grant Hill, leading the Magic on a playoff push. Hill said Wednesday that he has a cyst in his foot, but feels good enough to play Thursday night and for the remaining 20 games. Hill missed the past three games because of what he and the club said was arthritic pain atop his left foot. He has been taking anti-inflamatory medication and resting. But as we know with the Hill saga, everybody fibs about Hill's real condition. Hill mentioned the cyst in the arthritic area like he was talking about picking up a loaf of bread. So nothing's changed. This is the same type of muddled responses we've heard from him and the club since he limped in as a free agent in 2000. I won't believe he's playing Thursday against the Bulls until I see him at tip-off, wearing shorts instead of a turtleneck. And Coach Brian Hill said the same thing he always does: He hadn't determined whether Hill would start. Puh-lease. Coach Hill wants to get every advantage on the Bulls and Scott Skiles as he can, so he's leaving Skiles wondering whether he will start Hill or Keith Bogans. I'm sure Skiles can't sleep at night. Truth is, might not be a bad idea to start Bogans at shooting guard and let him chase Ben Gordon around, then bring Hill off the bench where he can have his way with either Chris Duhon or Thabo Sefolosha. Brian won't do that, of course, even though Turk plays better without Hill. "Today I feel as lively and was bouncing around as well as I have (all season)," Grant Hill said. "I feel good. You can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I'm anxious and excited about getting back out there and helping this team reach the playoffs." The playoffs and Grant Hill haven't ever been uttered in the same sentence here in Orlando. If Hill remains healthy, it would only be the second time in Magic gear that he has been involved in a playoff chase. He played 67 games in 2004-05, but missed the last 10 because of a sore shin. He has played 45 now --- the second most in his cursed career. Hill has never made it to the end of a season. This could be a first. Magic fans can see it now, everything coming into full circle: The Magic getting the No. 8 seed, and playing against the Detroit Pistons, Grant's old team. Intriguing story line for Hill (as well as former Pistons Darko Milicic and Carlos Arroyo), but I think we all know the results. If Hill can get the Magic to the No. 7 spot, maybe, just maybe, the Magic can do something Hill hasn't ever done: Win a first-round series.</div> Source Oh God...
A Cyst is usually a lump associated with Cancer. I just cant believe how injury prone this guy is, its insane.
Brian Hill obviously doesn't want Grant for the playoffs, since he never lowers his PT and he never brings him off the bench. You would think after 7 years someone would figure out that you can preserve him for a little longer if you limit his PT to 20-25 mins and bring him off the bench.
