Another missed jump shot, and another wild, flail on his follow-through at a defender's face. Whatever the story he's spinning this season, there remains a lot of anger, a lot of unrest within the Los Angeles Lakers star, and these are the moments when it manifests. And isn't it curious how he keeps picking victims whom he doesn't fear will fight back? "I don't think he would've done that to (Minnesota's) Ricky Davis," one Eastern Conference scout said Wednesday. "In part, Kobe probably thought that if anything went down, he'd beat Marko's ass. No question in his mind. With Ricky, he's probably got a little more respect for him as a player, and probably a little more concern. 'I might be able to beat his ass, too, but I'm not necessarily sure it's worth the trouble.'</div>
Yes I'm sure Kobe had time to analyze all the scenarios of who he should and shouldn't hit while in the air and also focus on getting a shot off to beat the shotclock.
Finally! Finally the league is punishing players who are into pulling off their "veteran tricks", I've always hated all those dirty players who throw their limbs up in the air to draw a foul. Its dirty, its cheap, it pisses people off. Kobe is now the new Karl Malone. Yikes!

How about when he grabs and slaps at players? Should Manu be suspended for elevating his knee and legs into a defenders mid-section and groin on his layup attempts?
What a BS article. I swear that the media is just trying to find a reason to rip on Kobe. Anything and everything he does gets scrutinized by the so called experts in the media. If the team loses in a game when he was selfish, it's his fault for not getting everyone involved. If they lose and he gets people involved, it's because he didn't take over enough. And now we have this. The only reason this is getting as much publicity as it has gotten is because of who it is. If LeBron does something like this, it won't get nearly this much publicity and he won't even get fined or suspended cause he's the leagues golden boy and heaven forbid he does something wrong. Bruce Bowen gets away with playing dirty defense constantly, Shaq gets away with a very hard foul on Marvin Williams and gets nothing but a flagrant. But, Kobe accidentally hits someone in his follow through and it's a huge news story. This **** is ridiculous.
Actually...Yes! If Bruce Bowen or anyone intentionally does something that appears to be what I think they called, "un-natural basketball move" the league should make an example out of them. Bowen should have been suspended after the vince carter injury in '04. Once again Kobe is guilty. Let's take a look at his "follow through" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0IqOzVsPfM0
<div class="quote_poster">Xover15 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Actually...Yes!</div> Fair enough. As long as the rule and suspensions are consistent, I can't argue with it and the players need to make the necessary adjustments. My contention is the interpretations and resulting suspensions are not consistent across the league.
