Unfortunately, it won't mater too much that Parker's back for this game on the defensive end. Allen is going to kick our ass no matter what, as he always does.

It will be nice to get Parker back though. This team isn't nearly the same without him.

Kind of off-topic, but I ran into Anthony Parker at Union Station this morning. Surprised the hell out of me, because I was still half-asleep, but I shook his hand and asked him how his ankle was. He said its much better and he'd be ready for the next game. Pretty cool way to start the day.

I hope the Raps get energized with his return. Ray Allen's always a threat, but I'm more worried about Garbajosa guarding Rashard Lewis.

Im glad parkers back. I think Garbo is a much smarter player then lewis. If he can get into his head with taking charges then garbos got it. But with the raps 2 heade dmonster, i dunt think the sonics can do much.

Raptors should take this one, it's one of those early games for the Sonics which is like 10 o clock their time.. so hopefully that plays a factor

This will be a high scoring game most likely. I say Toronto wins 107-102.

Ray Allen will kick your ass, but he kicks everyone's ass, and the Sonics still find a way to lose. They're in the middle of a desperate tank job. How do I know? Their last game, with a fully healthy Ray Allen and a fully healthy Rashard Lewis, these rejects lost to the Philadelphia 76'ers! You know, they should be commended for that. It's harder to lose to Philly than it is to get beaten by them at this stage of the season. [IMG]

BTW - Babe = weak... let's get some Katrina action! [IMG]

I know we are in a bit of a lul, and there isn't much to talk about in Raptorland, but it seems that Raptors forum has turned into a steady diet of TOO MANY newspaper articles and Good gamethreads. I guess i'm spoiled now, but with Naismith doing such great gamethreads all the time, I guess i'm just used to them and it really has become the norm as opposed to a treat.

P.S. Gamethread forum has now become a soft porn gallery...LOVE IT!

Philly is not that bad of a team anymore. Iggy has taken over since Webber and Iverson left and they have a decent record since those two left. They've won 5 in a row and can make it 6 tonight (they're leading the Laker going into the 4th).

    Dr. J rules.

If you want something new, here's a radio interview with Brian Colangelo. It's nothing particularly shocking, but its always cool to listen to him.

Pretty good first quarter for the Raptors so far, leading 25-19. TJ Ford played smart ball by finding open teammates and not taking bad shots. Chris Bosh looks like he's going to dominate Collison or whoever guards him all day.

LOL @ Graham getting his 70 footer blocked by Lewis at the end of the quarter.

It kind of sucks how Dixon gets exposed on defense every single time he is on the floor. Allen is kicking our ass (as usual).

49-47 Seattle at halftime. The Raptors are getting killed on the offensive boards and the Sonics have taken advantage of it. BTW, why the hell was Parker on the bench for 10 minutes when Dixon was getting burned time and time again by Allen? Parker has been doing a great job defensively on Allen so far.

78-71 Seattle after 3. Don't got a good feeling about this one.

Man, Ford played incredible in OT to win that game for us. Him and Bosh were simply dominant and they bailed us out of 2 1/2 quarters of crappy play.

OH wow... 4 point play by the big rook was just insane.

In OT, TJ and Bosh were just kiling it.

TJ could not be stopped. Raptors win baby! Best game of the year.

Credit to TJ today. He carried the team in the 4th and overtime. Defense and rebounding were horrible. We're lucky we stole this game today.

BTW: Why does Mitchell keep running that same damn play at the end of every close game? Does he not realize how many times it's not worked out and create another play!#$@

TJ's best game in a Raptors uniform.
