BTW: Why does Mitchell keep running that same damn play at the end of every close game? Does he not realize how many times it's not worked out and create another play!#$@</div>

You beat me to it! Not only is it the same play, but it's not even effective anymore. Were just lucky that someone always happens to be in the right place for the rebound etc..

I guess no one got the "please box out" memo we sent out after Varejo owned us that one game on the boards. Boxing out looked like a foreign concept there for the last 5 minutes of regulation.

TJ was nuts in that OT period. It was Iverson like the way he just ran up the court and blew past 3 defenders. Great performance. TJ Ford's jump shot can pretty much be an X-factor for us in any game.

Although i ddn't see Dixon get abused in the first half as i couldn't watch the whole game I have to say that I don't mind his defense overall. He uses his quickness really well and plays effectively with his hands. The problem for him just like TJ is that he's giving up a lot of size.

The coaching wasn't very great. I was most annoyed by the fact that Joey Graham was the first swingman off the bench. I mean, I know Peterson's struggled recently, but you need to recognize that he's the next best option on the defensive end. Towards the end, Dixon was getting burned repeatedly by the taller Allen and there was no chance of bringing in Mo-Pete because he had been inactive for the majority of the game. And that last play just shows you how much this team benefits from improvisation.

Ray Allen just scares the hell out of me, anytime he touches the ball.

WOW... big time steal for the raps.. We had no biz winning this game, but hey its da NBA baby..

    1. TJ was fantastic, he better bring it like this in the playoffs..
    2. Now I see why Allen makes $20 plus million a year, this guy is amazing to watch, if the sonics organization gets a better coach, and get decent players, they can win some ball games.
    3. The rest of the raps were sleeping this afternoon, too much time off perhaps, or effect of daytime savings?
    4. Mitchell did a decent job, GIVE HIM SOME CREDITs, only a third year coach.
    5. FInally, raps got some heart baby... BRING THE PLAYOFFS.

How many wins do you guys think we need to clinch the division? The way the Knicks are going, we might not have it in the bag yet. 41 enough?

It depends on the results of the next two games we have against NY. A couple wins there could unofficially clinch it for us.

what an amazing game, tj ford played his best game yet and bargnani played great once again.

amazing play by bosh when he put it behind his back then blocked the lay up at the other end, better be top 3 on all highlights

that being said, i wasnt impressed on the defensive side. the rebounds we gave up were just dissapointing, we deserved to lose that but came out of there just by the hair on our asses.

Damn, I had to go out after the 3rd quarter. I thought for sure the Sonics would win, Toronto after the first quarter just looked sluggish.

Given are schedule down the strech I really hope we don't settle for clinching the division. We have a lot of cupcake games left against teams and don't think its out of the realm of possibility to get home court advantage in rd. 1.

Ray Allen torched us. Everytime he touched the ball he scores.
