And thats what we're gonna be. We're not making the playoffs.

Not sure what Kobe is thinking. His image is going to be even more tarnished if he keeps this up.

After watching it, the hit wasn't that bad. I wont be surprised to see Kobe not get suspended.

Well, like I said, I defended him the first two times, but not today. I honestly don't know what he was thinking. To make matters even worse, this is the guy's first game back from suspension, and it looks like he may get suspended AGAIN for pretty much the same exact thing, something he has already gotten suspended for twice already.

I guess he's just trying to take out his frustrations against the league? It's the only logical explanation I can think of [IMG]

Well, it's definetly not something that warrants a suspension IMO, but neither were the first two. If he got suspended for hitting Jaric and Ginobli, I don't see him getting away with this one. Again, it doesn't warrant a suspension. But seeing it's Kobe, Stu Jackson and David Stern will probably suspend him for 5 games

With all the bull crap that's happened lately, I highly doubt he even gives a sh*t about his image

Well it certainly puts the onus on Stu Jackson now. Does he suspend Kobe for this elbow, or does the Lakers playing Dallas on National TV on Sunday take precendence?

That's a great point shape. i dont think he'll be suspended a third time. they'll give the respect he deserves hopefully. i didnt see the play, was it worse than the hits on manu and jaric

Hitting Kyle with an elbow was a bad move, but come on, it wasn't that bad. The NBA needs to stop being obnoxious with their rulings.

I think you guys are making the hit out to be a bigger deal than it really was. It was clearly unintentional and a natural motion that a player must make when trying to gain speed. Korver's head just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Oh god. The Lakers will be annihilated if they have to face the Mavs without Kobe.

I think Kobe was trying to swing Korvers arm off him and he unintentionaly got him in the face. Kobe always does that when hes being held coming off a pick and it wasnt even that bad of a hit.

We're going to get annihilated, even if Kobe plays.

Honestly, I think this is Kobe's way of saying F you to Mitch and the Lakers. He supposedly wanted a change at the deadline and didn't get it. I don't think he cares about this season. Kobe and Phil told the team that he wasn't going to bail them out this year and I don't think they believed him. They should start, because they're wasting his time out there.

I think it was CLEARLY intentional and i believe the league won't forgive that.

But we'll see, maybe they'll not punish him cause it's the third time.

It's even more reason for them to do so. They want to discipline him.

I love Kobe, but the elbow against Korver looked a little intentional...

Lol, that makes no sense. If anything, that will give them more reason to suspend him.
