Alex Smith can do nothing but improve especially with the addition of Vernon Davis.

With Ramsey in NYC & Brunnell injury prone, Campbell will get his chance to shine.

Charlie Frye has the most talent to work with on offense. Even with Vernon Davis, the 49'ers lost their top receiver from last year to the Redskins. Aaron Rodgers likely won't see the field this year.

I think as of next year you have to go with Charlie Frye. He has Kellen Winslow, Braylon Edwards, Joe Jurvecius Dennis Northcutt, and Reuben Droughns, and a good line

Alex Smith has Veron Davis, Eric Johnson, and a crappy line with the exception of Larry Allen.

This is easy Charlie Frye.. i saw alot of browns games and he has some skill.. so i have to go with him... And Orton won't see the feild with the adition of griese... unless both him and grossman go down

Let's not forget about Dan Orlovsky. Some Lions players are saying he's giving McCown a run for his money for #2 in Detroit. He's seems like a Mike Martz kinda QB.

    <u>Orlovsky confident about role</u>
Connecticut's favorite son, Dan Orlovsky, isn't intimidated by his new fellow QBs on the Lions. In fact, he thinks it is about time he started some games.

May 14, Connecticut Post: "I love coach Martz," Orlovsky said. "He's very similar to how I think. He really tries to make defenses look bad. He likes to manipulate defenses and just have a lot of fun with it."

Martz' aggressive, vertical offense is comparable to the one Orlovsky ran at UConn, the quarterback says. And the architect of the scheme has a history of producing stars at Orlovsky's position.
    ...
Orlovsky, who signed a three-year contract with the Lions last summer, has seemingly settled into his new surroundings. He bought a house in Royal Oak, Mich., and might be willing to stick with Detroit for the long haul.

"I like the people, I like the organization and I love (team president) Matt Millen. And I like the coaches who are there," Orlovsky said. "When I went to UConn, everyone thought I was crazy. But one of the reasons I went there was to try and turn it around. A big part of me choosing it was because they had the pieces in place.

"I feel we have that now (in Detroit). The pieces are in place there to turn it around."</div>
