I made a thread about this a while back and can't find it. Anyway, what do you guys eat before a basketball game?

I drink coffee and eat a banana. Something you never want to eat prior to a game is a salami sandwich.

I usually don't eat before a game which is probably bad, but I do during important games. Usually I'll have a bowl of pasta or some mac n' cheese. Other times I'll just have some fruit and a Red Bull.

Red Bull is terrible for you before a game, and in general.

I eat pasta or rice. . about an hour before games (when watching our other teams play).

It's addicting, and it gets me going during a game. Whenever I don't drink it, I feel lazy on the court especially on D.

Milo's sick. It's like Ovaltine I guess, but tastes great and is supposedly good for you.

I barely eat before games. Maybe some fruit or a glass of milk, but full-out meals have to be 2-3 hours before.

I usually don't eat before games, I just don't like the feeling after you start running.

MILO is off the chainz. You guys should try ... [IMG]

Bananas are good - lots of potassium which prevents muscle cramping and stuff.
Pasta is good - lots of energy, I haven't tried it but I have Health Science II class ...

Same. I just eat eggs and a bagel for breakfast and then fruit or a power bar before a game. I just feel slow and lethargic playing any sports just after I ate a meal or anything greasy.

I never ate before a game. I was always at my best with an empty stomach... but i'd drink a lot of Gatorade and water. Then just gorge myself with food afterwards.

I eat like a sandwich before my tennis games. A sandwich usually fills me up.
