I'm starting to think that AI is a player that despite his undeniable talent, can really hold an organization down because of his style of play. Look at whats going on in Denver right now, although its early it seems eerily similar to the AI/Glenn Robinson combo from a while back. As far as Webber goes, I have nothing to say about him, he pisses me off.

Look whats going on now, is the key word there. A major move for a major player like Iverson isn't going to happen overnight. They need more time to mesh. The 76ers are playing better right now (short term), because the move was easier on them in terms of adjustment.

Brian I thought yours was pretty funny. lol!

Did you forget C Webb put up 20 and 10 with Allen on the 76ers?

Well, the only way Iverson has ever suceeded team wise in this league was when he was surrounded by a bunch of defensive minded players. When Billy King took over, for some reason, the guy completely abandoned the approach and started to add offensive minded players to complement AI, even though he suceeded with defensive minded players. In Denver, if they really want the Iverson and Carmelo duo to succeed, they will most likely have to trade away some of their fire power, most noticibly JR Smith, for hard nosed guys like Bruce Bowen and Ron Artest. Now, will that happen? I don't know. But it's definetly something Denver has to think about
