Are we the worst run franchise in all of the 4 major sports? I'm taking in consideration the quality of talent we have let go, the crappy drafting when not #1, and the underachieving nature of our talent year in and year out? Not to mention we hold the most lotteries won.
<div class="quote_poster">Brian Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Detriot Lions, New York Knicks, Oakland Raiders (currently), Golden State Warriors?</div> Lions and Knicks I could see. Raiders no, because they have had success in the last 10 years. GS has at least been close to the playoffs the last several years and they just have gotten unlucky lottery balls. If GS had won 3 lotteries in the last 13 years they would be a perennial contender. They also keep their good players. If you look at the list of players the Magic and the Warriors have lost then you would be able to see how crappy the Magic's organization is run compared to the Warriors, not to mention GS is out West and Magic can't even make the playoffs in the East.

There are the Clippers who were pretty bad, Lions, Knicks, Royals just to name a few.

I'm not saying Orlando is the worst... but it CERTAINLY has been for more than a couple years of this... Orlando and LAC have held down the loss column for the last decade, with the exception of last year for LAC, and a couple years with TMac in ORL (hard to consider those years good years) http://www.basketball.com/nba/records/NBAteamRegWL.shtml

You are one perimeter player away. What I was getting at is that its a little extreme to say you are the worst run franchise in basketball, let alone all four sports.
GOsh ORLANDO MAGICS stink....and I live in orlando...they stink so bad...I mean we did not make it to the play off cause we lost to....umm.............was it bulls?

Well how HORRIBLE...didnt they change the arena name from TD WATERHOUSE to ARMAY (something like that) to attract more people to the games? Or was that the arena?
Yeah, it's the Amway Arena now. And it wasn't to attract more fans, it was because T.D. Waterhouse's deal expired.
<div class="quote_poster">Miss_Toy Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Oh how they news was making it sound was like it was suppose to help the Bbball team</div> The only thing that could help this team is firing our coach, Brian Hill, who is horrible.
The need to Reoraginze the "team" altogether not just the head coach, but all the other people under him and even above him Time after time we never make it...its time to "reshape" the Orlando magics
This is it!! Im starting to feel like lions fan now!! to show my displeasure im taking off my orlando magic license plate border
After this entire Billy Donovan situation, I have to bump this thread. Yes. We are the worst run franchise in professional sports.
Indeed we are and it all starts at the top: the ownership. I wish I had the money to buy this team. I've been a fan ever since I've been a kid and it was painful watching us let Shaq walk, then fail to build around T-Mac. And let's not forget that horrible, terrible, atrocious Big Ben trade for Grant Hill that has been plaguing us for years. Perhaps Abromovich is a basketball fan and will buy this team and do for us what he did for Chelsea FC. If we mess it up with Dwight like we did with Shaq and T-Mac it's going to be very tough to have any trust in our already incompetent front office.
We aren't the worst. What about the Cleveland Browns? Quick question though: How are we categorized by losing records or ownership or everything?? Because if that's the case then yeah we're the worst. Man that Miss_Toy is funny as hell lol
