During this 7-0 win streak, I`ve listened to people on the radio, my school, on the streets, where ever, but almost everybody is pissed by them winning games. The exact opposite of what we wanted to happened is happening. It`s almost funny to me. My point is basically that we Philly fans just never get a break do we?

What's also funny and/or sad is Philly is 4 games behind a playoff spot; possibly 3.5 if they beat Atlanta tonight.

The sad thing is, when we actually root for this team to win, all they ever do is lose. So the one time we actually want them to lose, they win. Plus, with all the injuries going around this season, the 76ers are probably one of the luckiest teams out there. Now, obviously, had we been rooting for them to win, guys like Dalembert and Korver may be going down left and right

It's easier to win/play when there is no pressure on you to win and teams don't expect you to go out and play

Youre right, i bet that Philly would be clutch in PO's cause they would have no pressure, the fans are happy anyway/ Or sad because they made the PO's and they dont give a ***** bout' it.

The 7 game win streak should flag something: potential. The Sixers might have something.

They do have something, better chemistry. Now that the ball is being equally distributed around the floor everyone's confidence has gone up. Great work by the Sixers, they look promising and should improve with some pick ups over the off season break.

Allen Iverson has only won 19 games total this year.

I like how in the beginning of the season, everyone in Philly is like why arent the Sixers winning? They have Iverson and Webber...Exactly they had Iverson and Webber. Those two were like divas that were about themselves. Now that theyre gone, the young guys have bonded and formed a team chemistry. That's the key to winning games.

Webber's meshing pretty well in Detroit though. Iverson was probably just taking too many shots like always (TS%-wise).

And they just got done blowing out the Suns in which he put up 44 and 15.

I was one of the fans who wanted Philadelphia to lose, too...but I just can't help but rooting for them now.

The reason they weren't playing good with Allen is because these guys aren't really defensive minded. Andre was too defensive minded and he often shyed away from scoring. You have to have "scrubs" surrounding Allen. It worked enough to get them to the Finals in 2001, but when they played the powerhouse in the Lakers they kind of just fizzled out because AI was the only one scoring. I'd like to see what Allen and Melo can do, because I see some similarities between the 01 76ers and the 07 Nuggets.

What similarities do you see? The 2001 76ers won with defense, the 2007 Nuggets are one of the worst defensive teams in the league. I also don't agree with surrounding Iverson with "scrubs." The 2001 76ers had a lot of talent around him Aaron McKie 6th Man of the Year and Mutombo Defensive Player of the year, the word you're looking for is "consistent" players, not scrubs.

Well I see a Mutumbo like player in Camby who is leading the league in blocks and is doing a hell of a job on the boards. You've got guys like JR Smith who is a threat from the outside, like Mckie was. Reggie Evans is that Tyrone Hill player who rebounds and does the dirty work. I wouldn't really call them similarities because that 01 team played better defense as a unit. I just see some parallels between the type of players each team has.

I don't mean scrubs as in a group of players who can't play. I mean scrubs as in players who are willing to do the dirty work, and take a backseat and strive in that backseat position.
