"I don't see him distancing himself away," Jordan said. "I feel he's been an important part to getting this franchise to where it is now. It will give me the most pleasure to continue that process until we get to where we have to go."</div> Link
FINALLY!! Seriously though it was time for him to step down he did a good job in his first year but his moves after that were horrible so hopefully he isn't brough back as GM. He is a horrible coach though has no idea what he's doing.
This comes as no surprise, however, I'm curious who the Bobcats have in mind to takeover this team. The foundation is in place for the Bobcats to contend for a playoff spot as early as next season with the right coach. Do they go with a young up and coming college coach or NBA Assistant? Or Do they go with a battle tested NBA coach with experience in taking a team from lottery to post season? From a Laker fans perspective, I'm worried the Bobcats will lure away Kurt Rambis or Brian Shaw from our coaching staff. The Bobcats have all the pieces to implement and successfully execute the Triangle Offense (inside/outside offense). I'm sure Jordan would fully support his team running that offense, and both Rambis and Shaw are qualified in running the team and the Triangle.
Felton's best when he's directing the break. Gerald and Okafor are both very effective in a run and gun as well. I would love for us to go get someone from the Suns staff
