<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">CHARLOTTE ? With top defender Emeka Okafor sidelined for virtually all of the Charlotte Bobcats? recent losing streak, defensive toughness and energy has been tough to come by. On Monday night, the Bobcats tried a different approach: Simply outscore the opposition. And with veteran Derek Anderson leading the way, Charlotte did just that in a 119-108 victory over the slumping Orlando Magic that snapped the Bobcats? season-long eight-game losing streak. Anderson led six Charlotte double-figure scorers with 24 points and also contributed 10 of the club?s franchise-record 39 assists. ?We shared the ball a lot,? said Anderson, who came off the bench to play 34 minutes. ?That helps a young team like ours get confidence.? So did a franchise-record 14 3-point conversions (on 22 attempts). Anderson and Gerald Wallace led the long-range bombers with four 3-pointers apiece. Raymond Felton added three, Matt Carroll two and Adam Morrison one. ?Well, tonight, we made some shots,? said Bobcats coach Bernie Bickerstaff, whose team improved to 23-41 overall following the second game of a four-game homestand; Charlotte concludes its by hosting Sacramento Wednesday and the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday. The Bobcats got good news and bad news on the injury front during Monday?s game. Brevin Knight, a starter for much of the team?s three-year existence, strained his left groin in the first half and did not return. Knight, who had an abdominal muscle tear cost him 29 games earlier this season, is questionable for Wednesday. But Sean May, out 24 of the previous 27 games with right knee soreness, started and played the most minutes he?s played since early January. May had 14 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals in 27 minutes.</div> Source

At least he isn't rushing it, better to just play it safe and wait it out a little longer, as long as he can get back.
