^Yea, I think everyone should take a year off after high school - get a sense of the real world - and then go to college. I don't know, it seems like everyone I know in college is just there b/c there parents went to college and they either followed there parents or were forced to go to college by them, or they just don't know what else to do besides go to college. It seems like kids just drift into college with no real sense/purpose. If they take a year off inbetween, get a job and realize where they would be if they don't finish college (not you hoops, sounds like your doing well), then they will go to college with a motive and want to get a degree.

Getting a job without a college degree or with no real working expierence background makes it tough... really makes you work twice or three times as hard to get to a pay rate of that of someone with one. In reality I believe I can complete any job given the chance and the knowledge equally as good if not better than anyone, it is just having that "piece of paper" that matters to the buisness. Thats why I plan on going back to school in the summer... even though I honestly do enjoy my current job, its def not where I want to be 10-15 years from now. (I want to be a billionaire and own JBB like Shape. )

So I officially gave my 2 weeks at my current job because I just got a new one. I'll get the joy of working for a company called PRC and I'll get to be a telemarketer. I've had numerous people tell me not to do it, but I could care less. I currently despise my job too much to say no. Plus, I'll be going from $7.75 to $8.50 an hour, so I won't complain.

Thank God I'm on the Do Not Call list.
Holy sh!t... shape, sasha, foops, lakeshow... seems like ol skool days here... yeah i work to pay off loans but i also hustle...
Yeah, telemarketer is probably one of the shittyest jobs out there. Not only is it boring, but it also makes you feel a bit guilty if you sell whatever crap you are selling. I had my jobs for 3-4 days, then I quit.

I currently work for a crap ass gas station that doesn't know what they're doing and doesn't pay me nearly enough for the **** I put up with. Hell, I don't even work for a respectable company right now, which really sucks. Anyways, beyond that, when I do start my new job, I'll be doing all inbound calling. I won't be calling anyone (at least intially).
