Stephen Curry is on fire for Davidson in this game, and Maryland only leads by 1 point at halftime 44-43.

I have Davidson pulling off an upset in my bracket, hopefully they can pull it off!

9-0 run to start the second half by Davidson, they lead 52-44! Curry with 23 points already!

This Maryland club reminds me a lot of every Amaker coached Michigan team: a lot of talent but no heart. They're great defensively, and they have the shooting to beat Davidson's matchup zone, but they're not playing with any urgency.

Still, I think they're going to pull it out. Davidson jumping out to that big lead early in the second half might scare them into playing with some sort of intensity.

I donno why, but when I as making my picks I just had this feeling Davidson would win and picked them, then changed it before the deadline. Looks like I may have made a mistake, but there is still plenty of time left in this game and it should be a thrilling one at that.

VC you damn jinx. Maryland has taken the lead back. I have Davidson advancing not only to the 2nd round, but the 3rd round, they were bracket buster special.

Day 1 looks bad for me so far.

No Cinderella slipper for Davidson, down by 7 with 42 seconds left.

Serves you right for betting against Mike Jones...

In all seriousness though, you picked Davidson over Maryland and Butler? Hey, I guess anything's possible in March, but those are two great shooting teams that on paper shouldn't have had any problems against Davidson's matchup zone.

Del Curry's son is pretty nasty, so we'll probably be seeing some more of Davidson in the next 3 years.

Davidson played a helluva game, but Maryland was just too much at the end. Osby definitely came up big for Maryland. They are a dangerous team with their 3 quality bigs and the guard play.

I watched most of this game at school. Davidson controlled the game for 30 minutes. It was there for the taking and they were taking it, then it looked like they just hit a wall and tired out. Sloppy passes, poor defense, and Maryland kept going with what was working.

Stephen Curry...all the talk about freshman this year and this guy wasn't among it? Wow, this kid is very impressive. Davidson fans should feel pretty good about this kid's potential. This team is almost certainly a team we'll be seeing in some preseason top 25s next year, IMO.

I wasn't able to watch this game, because I was in school, but verrry happy the Terps pulled it off here. Bring on Butler!
