Competitive game thus far, the Eagles only lead by 1 point at halftime 41-39. This has been a high scoring game, and if BC can continue this scoring pace, they should pull away in the second half. Bobby Knight can not be thrilled his team allowed BC to shoot 52% from the field in the first half.
BC is up by 5 with less than a minute to go and they have the ball, so this one's looking like it's over if they can knock down some FTs.

Jared Dudley is the most underrated player in all of college basketball. Texas Tech just didn't have any answer for him and Marshall on the wing. He may not get many votes for Player of the Year, but he sure as hell deserves them. There's probably not a more well rounded player out there, just look at his numbers: 19.0 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 3.0 apg, 1.3 spg, 56% FG, 46% 3pt. I know that a lot of people reading this forum today aren't hardcore college basketball fans, but for collegiate ball, those are amazingly good numbers. He's also got a real fun-to-watch edge to his game, much like Joakim Noah, sans the arrogance. If it weren't for the committee matching them up with Georgetown in the next round, I'd probably have the Eagles going really deep this year. As for today's game, I think Texas Tech did the best that they possible could have considering that Jackson had one of the worst games of his career. Everytime I switched over to this game on MMOD, Jackson was bricking another shot. He was just playing outside of what Texas Tech was trying to do, breaking the Red Raiders' offensive rhythm. It's a shame that one player can throw off an entire team that much, because everyone else for Tech was playing great. I guess Jackson will suffer the most though; he's the senior.
So, I was all excited when I thought I got this game correct...and I went to check my bracket...and it didn't save when I made the change from Tech to Boston...blah...
