I think this should be the best game in the 1st batch of games, I think Albany is an underrated team and Virginia is an overrated team. Remember Albany almost upset UConn last year in the 1st round.....

Doesn't look that way right now. Virginia is out to an early 13-2 lead.

There goes that theory. Albany let me down like Stanford. Their offense was terrible.

I was tempted to take Albany, but guard play is crucial in the tournament, and Virginia's backcourt is one of the top duos when they're on.

I also didn't want to have too, many upsets on bracket for the 1st round. I already had Davidson, Stanford, Long Beach State and Creighton advancing.

I never considered Albany because they didn't impress me when I saw them lose to Boise State about a month ago. UVA really impressed me both times I saw them this year, blowing out Gonzaga and Virginia Tech. Reynolds and Singletary are the real deal.

I think they have their hands full with Tennesse, though.

The thing about Virginia is that they live and die by their guard play. Today they just happened to live by it, but it was pretty easy seeing their guards coming up flat like they have many times this season, so I was fooled into picking Albany.
