Does anybody else have Purdue beating Illinois in their brackets? I love the hard work by the boilermakers, they've had close bouts with Ohio State in the regular season and Big 10 tourney, so I think they can make some noise here.
<div class="quote_poster">44Thrilla Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">By Illinois, do you mean Florida?</div> I think he meant Arizona. If that's the case, I've got Arizona not only beating Purdue but beating Florida in the next round. They only have a low seed because of the amazingly hard schedule they played, but their RPI is high as hell (only six or seven spots behind the Gators' actually).

Juwann McClellan is playing good so far and it looks like his knees are okay Now only if the rest of the team steps back up.....
Chris Lutz for teh win. Boilermakers are really playing their game and keeping the 'Cats from running as much as they'd like to. Landry can still do more - I expect him to have a big 2nd half.
37-34 Purdue @ the half Zona really needs to put someone on that Lutz guy, he's 4-4 on 3pt shots. Another thing is that Radenovic needs to take shots, he's lost his confidence and has been a no factor. Radenovic and Shakur are the senior leaders but haven't helped settle this team down at all. I sure hope they get their gameplan straight b4 the 2nd half starts.

<div class="quote_poster">J_Ray Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I wish we could get that far I'll be hoping they get that far with you.....</div> Got to support the Pac-10. It's one of those picks that could really put me over the top if it happens, but won't totally eliminate me if it doesn't work out.
The only reason I say Arizona needs to win this is because I have a good respect for that college. A buddy of mine went there too. Thing is, if they lose I get the points since I picked Purdue.
What a disastrous season for the Wildcats. Look at their lineup, look at Michigan's, look at DePaul's, look at Duke's, and look at Georgia Tech's. Each of those teams have Final Four caliber rosters when you strip out all the intangibles, but they all got knocked out of the tournament (or failed to even qualify for the tournament) because of either bad coaching or a lack of chemistry. I'm pretty much at a loss for words for all those teams; the only one I can think of at the moment is disappointing.

I sure hope Arizona can play some D next year because this year was horrible cuz they had no D. I'm surprised Lute didn't throw the 1-3-1 Zone at Purdue because I felt that could of slowed down Landry. Another thing that would of helped would have been to press them to make the pace a lot faster than it was, something Zona should have done the whole season. It's sad that Radenovic had such a bad game to end his Arizona career. All his other tourney appearances he was a beast and today he just had no confidence at all, he was a great player considering the way we got him. Took the scholarship Ndubi Ebi left when he entered the NBA straight out of HS. As for Shakur, good riddance.....I'm glad the guy is graduated and gone. Shakur is the whole reason this team was horrible and had no senior leadership at all. I wish he lived up to his ranking in his HS class as the best PG..... <div class="quote_poster">Pgballer17 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">At least chase will be back next year.</div> Let's hope he does comeback, and he bulks up and learns how to play D
