Terps up 10-8 with 12:58 remaining, let's do it Maryland.

I got Butler on this one. Should be a tight game.

Maryland's already beating 'em up on the glass. Ligon has to be physical in the paint, he's their only real post player. And Strawberry's size is really botering Graves.

I was surprised to see that Matt Howard is going to Butler next year - he's a really good player and more of a true low-post threat than they've had lately. Butler's got some staying power. End of offtopic section of this post [IMG] I just had to check if they had more size coming in the future.

Butler is ON! They're not missing here, and really doing a good job of beating the Terps in transition - their own game

Looks like we're going to have another barnburner on the day!

Butler leads by two, 46-44 with a little under 8 minutes left in the game.

What a shot by Crone, this is a great game!

Let's go Butler! I had ODU going to the Sweet 16, and since that fell through, I kind of want to see Butler win.

Graves misses the drive, offensive board, and Graves sticks a DAGGER in Gary Williams - 3 in the corner to make it 61-56 Butler with just 2:00 on the clock

Butler wins 62-59. I had Maryland going to the sweet 16 to face Florida.

    Butler wins it, 62-59

Maryland couldn't get ahold of the ball late, they just looked a bit discombobulated. An offensive foul went against them late, which didn't help. Big win for Butler, we have our first 'mid major' in the Sweet 16 [IMG]

Man, Maryland should've won that game, but a lot of missed free throw's and poor switching led to open 3's for Butler. I didn't expect Maryland to beat Florida, but it sucks to see that we won't be able to watch it. Thanks DJ Strawberry, Will Bowers, Parish Brown, Mike Jones and Ekene Ibekwe for your time at MD.

Nice, more points for me. That was a good game though, one of two so far. Hopefully this round is much more exciting.

Butler ran their "slow-it-down" half court offense to perfection this afternoon! Graves finally got some of his three's to go and Crone was the X-factor with three huge three point buckets.

Assuming Florida gets by Purdue, I can't wait to see them and Butler square off!
