If i was saban i would let Harrington start the first game because he is defintely going to need his legs against the steelers, and will get pounded. So i would just take it safe and let joey start that game

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>POSTED 10:45 p.m. EDT, June 11, 2006 <u>HARRINGTON LOOKS HORRIBLE</u> Word around the league is that Dolphins backup quarterback Joey Harrington has looked horrible in his first official minicamp with the team. Harrington, the third overall pick in the 2002 draft, was acquired via a trade in May from the Lions. The Dolphins sent to Detroit a fifth-round pick in 2007. The pick could upgrade to a sixth-rounder. We're not suggesting that Harrington is in line to not make the team, but with starter Daunte Culpepper apparently well ahead of schedule in his rehab from that torn knee ligament trifecta and with No.3 quarterback Cleo Lemon arguably better suited to serve as Culpepper's understudy given that they both are far more mobile than Harrington, we wouldn't be surprised to see Lemon leapfrog Harrington at some point during the 2006 season. http://www.profootballtalk.com/rumormill.htm</div> I told you so! Nice cap management with your 3rd string QB Nicky! LMAO!
I put little stock in rumor mills found on the internet. Harrington has his ups & downs but is coming along nicely considering he has only been a 'phin about a month. It will take time to correct all the flaws Joey picked up in Detroit. Joey will be a serviceable backup and a great substitute for when Daunte's knees act up. Cleo Lemon is doing well. It would not surprise me to see Holland (UDFA) surpass either JH, CL, or both given enough time...training camp 2007?

LOL. I thought it was a 6th possibly becoming a 5th?
hahaha i love how ur so pysched about a QB that is doing bad that is gonna be the backup... its really not a big deal because they have a backup plan or moreso just have him in till Duante. Detriot didnt have that, besides all the fun ur having over Joey messin up he was still in detriot for 4 years we should be making fun of u... we are. and i dont think Nick put too much stock in Harrington anyway. I've been wondering why u hate Saban so much, i've come to the conclusion that ur just jealous because u have Millen over there and ur jealous of someone who actually knows football unlike MM.

Not only is he not worth a draft pick, Saban WAY overpaid him and garanteed a boatload of doe for "Doey in the Headlights"! Hillarious! LMAO!

Focusing on details....you've just identified the difference between winning and losing, between the Dolphins and Lions, and between Saban and Millen....and the difference is details.....thats why Millen is a complete failure as a GM and Saban has never had a losing season as a Head Coach on any lvl....clearly, Saban gets it, Millen doesnt....clearly I get it and you dont....you bust on Saban for taking on "low" charachter guys, but the truth is, he only takes on low charachter guys when he doesnt have to invest anything(like Vick)....hes willing to risk nothing, as long as theres a chance for reward, while your own team drafted a convicted felon in the 1st round....see what I mean, DETAILS.....thats the difference....its the reason I can still make jokes while you are becoming one on these boards....
