Yao was playing pretty good but needs to stay more positive on the offensive side of games. The Rockets had a great offense after blowing a few games before and the Rockets need to continue that. Bonzi may also play in this game so it will be good for the Rockets. T-Mac needs to continue the offense but also now the Rockets need to start using Yao on offense alot because the Rockets will need it for the playoffs. The Rockets defense needs to continue and they need to lower the opp ppg. We have to contain Andre Iguodala and Kyle Korver because they are great shooters. Juwan needs to continue to do good, and Yao also needs to continue and do a good job on Dalembert. The Rockets need to rebound, score, and defend. Andre Miller and Willie Green are big players to so they need to contain them. The Rockets have to contain the penetration of Andre Miller. <font color=""Red"">Luther Head hit some 3's!! </font> <font color=""black"">Sixers:</font> Keep Tmac from scoring more than 30. The Sixers need to rebound and get points in the paint. Miller should continue what he is doing and keep scoring on and on. Kyle Korver will come off the bench so he needs to contribute well and they also need Hunter to score. The bench needs to produce and Green needs to give them energy with Points. Dalembert is also a key player because he is not offensive minded but he still needs to try to score. Dalembert and Hunter need to score on Yao so they can ware him down on offense. The offense needs to go through Miller and Iguodala. Cover luther head on 3's! <font color=""Black"">Bottom Line:</font> This is another game to help the Rockets to maybe get a home court advantage in the playoffs to the Rockets need to win this. The Rockets need a streak because every good team has been on a streak lately and they need to prove that they are good and also to clinch the playoff berth. The Sixers have been playing good of late and beating teams that are good so the Rockets need to put them away early. The Rockets mainly need to score because you cannot win a game if you do not score. All the Rockets need to do is pickup their offense and defense and not play Lazy then they will win. If the Rockets can close the game out well they will come away with the victory. The Sixers are still a tough team to beat because they have Dalembert at the C to contain Yao and Hunter at PF and they are both 7 footers, nonetheless the Rockets should do good. The Rockets won the last meeting in Houston by alot so they need to do the same and dominate the game, but also close it out early. Hope for a great game and may the best team win.
Houston needs to win this to catch up to Utah. We are only 2 games behind and we can't let their lead slip away. If we can win this, we have a great chance at the home-court advantage.
No reason the Rockets would lose. If Rafer Alston stays as hot as he was against Toronto, we can expect another blowout. I'm calling the Rockets by 12.
<div class="quote_poster">ownage Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Rockets scored 30+ in 6 of their last 7 games now. We just need to learn how to keep a lead.</div> Our starting group, when in tact, has been awesome all year. But JVG rarely goes back to them in the second quarter and fourth quarters. I think that's part of the problem.
OMG did anyone see that sick dunk by Synder? Hopefully he gets "some" minutes during the playoffs. We need his energy.
50. . and more importantly, 1.5 games behind Utah. If we beat them twice, and they lose 1 game more than us, we've got home court (they still play Dallas, Phoenix, and San Antonio). Great game by the Rockets, but we can't get ahead of ourselves, we still have to get by the Pacers (which we should), and then the Pistons. COME ON, HOME COURT.
<div class="quote_poster">ownage Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">OMG did anyone see that sick dunk by Synder? Hopefully he gets "some" minutes during the playoffs. We need his energy.</div> Tsakalidas flexing his muscles too.
Tsakalidis and both Snyder showed some athleticism. Nice dunks. Great win by Houston! 50 POINTS!! OMG! What a blowout. Sixers got embarassed in front of their home fans. Only 1.5 games behind Utah. Lets go Houston and homecourt!
An also interesting note. Juwan has been playing great off the bench, providing a scoring option when we really need it. Hayes has been doing really well starting next to Yao. We keep up this level of play and we can truly be deadly in the playoffs.
We're playin the best basketball we've played in six years. I can't remember a time (besides 95-96) when we've have two superstars so efficient. Yao's dominating, and Tmac becoming the best playmaker in the league. I just get concerned, because when the jumpers aren't falling, how will we win ball games?
Man that felt good. i pulled for at least a 50 point victory once i knew it was possible in the 3rd and they granted that wish to the 'T'.. The Rockets are looking strong, hope it keeps up..!!
Well, to be fair, we did just beat the Sixers. It's not like they're the Mavs... On the positive side, this type of blowout will only boost our morale. Let's go for a big winning streak of 10+ games here.

Mainly because Yao is just running up and down the court. When we go on a drought, we look to snap it by shooting long jumpers and miss... I think in times like these we need to get the ball inside to Yao.
