I picked V-Tech for this one. Hopefully, they can pull out with a win.

Southern Illinois witha big iwn getting them to the sweet 16. I think they could score a big upset on Kansas or take out Kentucky depending on who wins. Any news on Shaw?

They are definitely capable of beating Kansas, but Kansas is the one seed that I am the most high on(other than Florida). I think I might have picked them to beat UNC or OSU honestly.

Where has been the deadly backcourt duo Va Tech had all year? 2 games in the tourney and I didn't see them both perform at once like they did all year long. I really like Deron Washington showing up but damn, Va Tech really was disappointing and I don't know what to say about them

^^Yeah Washington is going to be a star once he develops a consistent jump shot because he might be the most athletic player in the country. If Shaw can play I think they will definately pull off the upset. I like Jamaal Tatum to shut down Chalmers and Collins as well.

^ It'll more likely be Young and Mullins shutting down KU's scorers than Tatum (if anyone out there can shut down those Kansas guards LOL). In a game like this, when Kansas will want to run against SIU's pressure, I think that it'd be smart to just let Tatum focus on his offense. They'll need that more than his D. Plus, Young and Mullins are the team's best defenders. I think this is going to be a very good matchup, and I hope SIU can pull the upset, even though Kansas is in my final four. I just love watching the Salukis play!
