<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">He is without a doubt the most obscure player on this list -- a rookie guard from Spain who averages less than 12 minutes a game.

But if you've turned on a Blazers game during those isolated stretches when the man known as "Spanish Chocolate" is on the court, you know that it's only a matter of time (or perhaps we should say, minutes) until this guy breaks out.

Sure, he could use anywhere from a few to a thousand extra reps in the weight room (Rodriguez is listed at 6-3, 168), but there's little this 20-year-old can't do with a basketball in his hand short of saut?ing an omelet. And his ball-handling skills are so smooth, it's almost enough to make you believe he could run an offense while toting around a red hot skillet.

In games where Rodriguez has played 20 or more minutes this year (seven of them in total), he's averaged an impressive 10.1 ppg and 7.3 apg.

Given that production and his flashy style of play, it shouldn't be long before Trail Blazers fans are holding up signs at home games that say, "You know Sergio? Come join us!" (In a nod to the unforgettable Smirnoff Ice commercial from several years ago.)

We're not exactly sure what such a sign would mean, but to Blazers coach Nate McMillan, the message should be clear: Find a way to get Sergio Rodriguez out on the court.</div>
