Timmy Smith, the Washington Redskins hero (one of the heroes) in the 1988 Superbowl against the Broncos is going to prison for selling a bunch of cocaine to undercover agents.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen...

I'm pretty sure that holding a Superbowl rushing record is a lot "mightier" than going to jail for drug trafficking.

It's an expression. JUST an expression.

    Let it go...

The maxi pad joke just doesn't work. Perhaps if PA got his panties in a wad and tracked down Timmy Smith's career stats over the use of one tiny phrase then the maxi pad joke would work, but probably not because it's lame.

I guess all leaf has now is the great college and high success(more than most will ever have) and the millions of dollars he got as a signing bonus.

Good point. When did people start thinking that making an NFL roster was easy?

I'd be more than happy to live the life of Jason Horton who's the Packers like 4th or 5th string CB.

Actually even the "scrubs" in the NFL dominated at the High School level. Aaron Steker for instance played in football in the same conference as myself and he dominated his senior year with 2000 yards rushing and 33 total TD's. He doesn't see much PT in the NFL unless it's on special teams as a returner. That just shows how good you have to even make it big in the NFL.

I believe there's only 39 players in the Super Bowl MVP fraternity. If not for Doug Williams throwing 4 TD's that day, Timmy Smith would be a member of that elite group.
