Off topic but check out the power rankings at SI.com:

    Houston Rockets #4
Jeff Van Gundy is living proof that coaches are never satisfied. After his team whomped the Sixers by 50 points (yes, 50!) last Saturday, he said: "We're certainly not 50 points better than anybody." Umm, well, yes, coach, you are. Just look at the scoreboard.

why did it look like the game was between the pacers and the.. pacers.
we play just as sloppy and horrible as they have been since the all-star break.

i could not believe how many turnovers there were due to the fact that we cant hold on to a pass for the easy score.
but man did it feel good seeing them all explode in the 4th to secure the win.
t-macs pass deflection and steal, and then a block and awesome effort to keep it in bounds.[IMG]

Well, to be fair to Chuck, he called Houston the best team in the league last year. We didn't do him any favours there...

I don't remember him ever saying anything like that.

Tmac needs to stop shooting jumpers and drive in sometimes and Houston, we are a defensive team! Why are we trying to become a jump shooting team? We need to get more points from the paint. We took way too many shots outside the paint. We need to drive in more.

    Nevertheless, a good win!

During the Katrina Charity game. I remember there's a thread around here somewhere.

mainly because of his back. he doesnt want to start that mess again, so he limits himself from driving as much or at all.
i do miss that side of t-mac but ill take a healthy mac who doesnt drive over no mac in the lineup at all.

What are you talking about dude? He found a cure for his back and he has not had any spasms since he returned. Well his back tighetend up but for like the past month or so, his back has been just fine. There are some games where he drives in and there are most of the games where he just settles for jumpers. He is capable of driving in and drawing fouls or scoring. He is capable of doing that. What I am mad at is why he doesn't do that when he can get easy points like that.

im talking about the reason he doesnt drive much at all- what like maybe 2-3 times average.
the old t-mac was unstoppable from driving and took advantage of that alot more than now.
im not saying his back is messed up, im saying that it is guarranteed that the more you drive, dunk, get bodied around in the paint, hard fouls, and all that that comes with driving then it will mess his back up again.
the point is when your as good as a complete player as t-mac why take the risk.
