I loved these type of lists and was interesting in trying to find the result. It's a bit different from the other thread, strongest pg. I'm talking about the strongest players (aside from Shaq), in term of physical strength in the current NBA. Not lbs for lbs, but a player that can lifts the most weights, and looks physically strong.

I have a couple candidates in mind: Kwame Brown, Nene, Alonzo Mourning, Eric Dampier, Danny Fortson, Marc Jackson, Dwight Howard, Ben Wallace, and Haywood.

Dwight, Ben, Kwame (god, he's such a p*ssy...with a body like his, I'd dominate the league), Shaq and Fortson on that list.

Haywood doesn't look that strong to me, maybe it was the visions of him back pedaling.

Eric(a) Dampier is the softest big man in the league.

I haven't watched Dampier that much, but softness is definetly a "strong" trait of Kwame Brown.

    He said aside from Shaq...

Dwight Howard gets my vote. The dude is 21 years old and looks like that. Scary.

the way lebron can man his way through defenders is pretty astounding, like in the playoffs against pistons that drive against like four of them was beastly. but definatly howard ben maggette artest and alonzo.

I would say Ben Wallace, but just a side not: LeBron is huge. He is hella strong, i remember when they played the Lakers, he dunked on Turiaf and like killed him. Also he looks as big as Kwame (in muscle).

No love for the rookie? Shelden Williams is an absolute beast (even sans the forehead). I think that Tony Massenburg's gotta get some love too, although I think he's in retirement now. I remember watching him get in a shoving match with Shaq, and he's the only man I've ever seen Shaq back down from. Houston's Jake Tsakalidis is huge too, albeit not the greatest athlete in the world.

He plays soft just like most big men in the league, however the guy is a banger. I saw him pushing, shoving with Kwame Brown during rebound possession, and seem like neither side had any advantage. Some of you guys still got absolutely no clue what I meant by STRENGTH [IMG] .

I remember reading somewhere "not to go in the gym with Earl Boykins 'cause he will embarass you." For his size Boykins is pound for pound the strongest guy in the league.

Where's Matt Harpring guys? The guy looks like a football player when he steps on the court. Boozer is pretty well built too, so is Hoffa.....but here's my 5 in no particular order.....

    Matt Harpring
    Eddy Curry
    Carlos Boozer
    Jason Maxiell
Shaq-When you can break someone's arm swiping for the ball, your a strong mofo....

Muscle-wise, Derek Fisher is up there with the ones you have mentioned.

Maurice Evans is has that athletic muscular look.
