It's obvious to me that Phil and Kobe have given up on their role players producing enough to where Kobe doesn't have to dominate the ball and absolutely torch teams. Pretty obvious statement, I know. I like this dominant Kobe. He's ruthless and I think everybody on the team not named Smush loves it, too. This is the Kobe that hoisted us on his back last year and is doing it again. Come playoff time though, this style of basketball won't work in a 7 game series. Hopefully we can get production from all of our players like we did in the first four games of the Phoenix series.
I'm glad to hear the entire laker organization is on board with this one, that way Kobe won't take any heat. Anyways, Kobewatch is definately on again as everyone's tuning into sportscenter to see what he did that night
To me this speaks volumes to how mentally fragile Kobe's teammates are. Kobe has to go on scoring binges for them to gain confidence? It should be the exact opposite, you should gain confidence when you're given the opportunity to perform and not rely on someone else to do your job.
