And being region free you can get brand new games from ebay/amazon for about half the $120 you get at the stores here.
I think both consoles have their own advantages. Playstation 3 is more powerful, but XBOX 360 is good for people that want their music in their games. No doubt that GTA IV will have a custom soundtrack option on the XBOX 360. I'm still undecided and won't make my decision until 2008 or '09 when these consoles kick into high gear with good games. Whichever one I decide it'll surely go along nicely with the Wii I plan to pick up.
Well I just saw the new issue of Game Informer with GTA IV on the cover. Looks like the game will have a lot of new features.
^^Yeah but its going to be different because you can choose who you hang out with and stuff. You get to choose your path unlike the previous games.
Kind of like those choose your own adventure books back in the day. I remember reading those in elementary. I reserved me a copy of the game. Can't wait till it comes out.
I never understood reserving games, as I've never seen a place sell out before. What's the point? Although, I am a hypocrite and reserved the SM3 game because they gave me a free poster
Well last year i reserved San Andreas and my GameStop sold out the day after so luckily I went at 10 the previous night to get it. What are you guys' thought on the character Belic? I'm gonna have to get used to him, hopefully he's better than Fido.
Cool, Gamestop sold out, but what about...Walmart, Target, Circuit City, Best Buy, FRY's, EB Games, and K-mart? There is nothing wrong with reserving, I just never understood it lol.

There won't be different endings. That is exactly what I wanted them to change and instead it just gets a makeover with some cheap paint. I'm going to wait for reviews in October because even after reading through GI Mag and what they had in there on 10 pages it wasn't so amazing IMO. The graphics look stellar so far and will look even better once they're smoothed out, but that doesn't do much for me since I do most of my gaming on a high-end PC. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">What are you guys' thought on the character Belic? I liked CJ and Tommy Vercetti. At least they brought some flavor to the game unlike Fido who didn't say a word.
I didn't like any of them, but at least I can put that the first guy wasn't really annoying. My opinion anyway, I just couldn't take the last two the most because they were stale stereotypes. In GTA3 I turned that guy into the Crow by modding his appearance. That was funny as hell.
the main charcter in GTA3, his real name was revelead in San Andreas when he made a cameo, his proper name is Claude Speed. People just called him Fido because his name wasnt established in GTA3, and a woman in the game says somthing to him like "lets go Fido" when you had to drive her to some party.
GTA IV Gameplay details <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The first gameplay details of Rockstar's upcoming epic Grand Theft Auto IV have been unveiled, just a couple of weeks since the first teaser trailer caused a major stir across the world. Game Informer's Andrew Reiner -- one of the few journalists to see the game -- lifted the lid on some of the features we can expect to see when GTA IV launches in October. Top of the list is the fact that players can fly across Liberty City, although not in planes. "There are no airplanes in the game but flying is still there," he explained. "One means of this is the helicopter. This is just one city and a plane really doesn't fit into that very well for gameplay. Flying is still very much a large part of the game."</div>
