It's being reported that Ben doesn't have a license to drive motorcycles. http://kdka.com/sports/local_story_164115654.html All he had was an expired learner's permit according to the source.
This is the funniest quote I've read so far.... "Citing unnamed sources, Bouchette reports that the injuries are confined to Roethlisberger's face, and that published reports of potentially serious knee and shoulder injuries were incorrect. In short, Ben is one lucky bastard. Dumb as a twice-baked potato, but lucky nevertheless." - profootballtalk.com Good to see Ben should be ok as well!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Steelerfan_2005)</div><div class='quotemain'>How often do you really hear "dumb as a twice-baked potato"?</div> This is the 1st. I always thought it was, "...as dumb as a bag of hammers", "He's a few bricks short of a house", "Her oars are not all in the water". I could go on but y'all get the point.
Big Ben's recovery is going well... http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/5694220 The bad news? His little crash cost him $2 million in easy money from a Campbell's Soup commercial he missed. Oops...

Wasn't Bouchette the Waterboy?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (kcgsc)</div><div class='quotemain'>Foghorn Leghorn's "Sharp as a sack of wet mice" is still one of my favorites.</div> Looney Tunes reference! I love it. IMO, you just can't beat Groucho Marx or British comedies for insults. The one that jumps right to mind is on the BBC comedy Red dwarf; "This place is duller than Salt Lake City on a Saturday night." Speaking from experience, its funny.....and very true. The Britcom from which I derive my user name is has some of the best witty dialogue of all time.
Perhaps Big Ben could use this line in a future PSA, "Helluuuuuuuuu there people in TV land! Ride a motorcycle without a helmet and get a FATHEAD."
