I've alwayz admired players with a cocky swagger. Reggie Miller, Gary Payton are two of my top picks. But Charles Barkley was ALWAYZ one of my favorite pricks lol. For a player of MJ's talent, he was alwayz rather humble, atleast from what I saw. But the cockiest player in my opinion has to be Dominque Wilkins. The guy was pretty damn arrogant. Kobe (during his Shaq days) was prolly equally cocky

Scottie Pippen has to be in the Top 10. The dunk over you Ewing in New York and standing over him afterwards.

Claiming he was better than Jordan because he used to beat him one on one in practice.

Sitting out the final play, when PJax called the play for Kukoc and not Pippen.

[IMG] yeah Pippen is definitely on the list. I think Marc Jackson should get some love too and Sam Cassel.

Dennis Rodman, Rasheed Wallace, Pippen, Payton, Iverson, Gilberts turning into one.

    Larry Bird by far.

    Jordan, yeah.

Scottie Pippen, definetly, and Gary Payton as well. Oh, and Shawn Kemp of course.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Shaq. That dude's ego has its own gravitational orbit.

Paul Pierce is one of the most cockiest players in NBA history? [IMG]

I think we as fans have to see it from the atheletes perspective. If you're worth multi-millions, have an enormous amount of endorsement deals, have the ability to get any chick you want, and you're considered a 'superstar', would you not be cocky either? That's not even mentioning the fact that these dudes are the best at what they do, and are quite big with really strong bodies.

If the situations were reversed, I'm quite sure all of us would be quite cocky in their shoes as well. I know I would. I doubt any significant NBA player (even the IR players) make it to the big leagues without carrying a large ego. I mean, even if some of them don't show it (Steve Nash, Hershey Hawkins, etc), when you have skills, you do feel cocky in your heart.

Add Francis to my list. The guy acted like a little bitch about playing in one of the nicest cities in Canada. I'm glad he's lost his 'superstar' status; never considered him one anyway.

Gilbert Arenas by far if we're just talking about today's players. Kobe should also be in there, Rasheed, Shaq, Jason Terry, Dirk Nowitzki. I'd also put Baron Davis and Stephen Jackson in there.

Dirk? He just admitted he gets nervous in key situations.
