He's more of cocky than arrogant. Just watch they way he plays and you'll see.

In that case Wade seems cocky. Kobe is obviously cocky but I didn't need to mention that before.

How is Lebron cocky? Maybe people consider 'Bron's beating of his chest a little bit offensive. I for one, do not. When most players are cocky, there is a reason for it. If you wanna stop their celebrating or trash talk, win the game. Pretty simple.

Paul Pierce has been noted by his own peers as a very difficult person to play with, due to his selfishness and arrogance.

I believe Marbury and Kobe to be quite cocky. When you give yourself a nickname, it is pretty sad. "Starbury" and "Mamba???" They were both creations of their owners, not something bestowed upon them.

But there is something to be said about the arrogance. It is normally backed up by performance. If my star player is arrogant and performs well, I have no problems with it at all.

tim duncan lol joking, nah shaq definatley, bird, jordan, kobe, wade, pippen oh ive allways found ginobili really arrogan and cocky after he flops or gets a tricky layup or something, there's something there but he's very passive about it, but you can he's all in love with himself when does flop or something.

With all the cockiness, I still think NFL players FAR exceed the level of arrogance of any other sport (Moss, T.O., Chad Johnson etc).

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Jermaine O'Neal, or Jalen Rose. I remember when Jalen would score on somebody and run back down court shakin his head like "this guy can't stop me". I love it!

Reggie Miller was more of a cocky player...Jordan, he was cocky because of all of his success, but he wasn't very arrogant, only at times he would display arrogance, but we all do that. Shaq is a balance, he only shows it when someone challenges his dominance; who could blame his competitive spirit? He doesn't want to lose his crown as "most dominating player."

Chris Webber is arrogant and cocky on the court.

Not sure what your talking about, there is a difference between cocky and confident, and I don't think LeBron is cocky.

Marbury called himself the best point guard in the league. I think that would put him in that list. Kobes definitely on the list but I think hes gotten better. Remember Cocky and Arrogant isn't always a bad thing I love Rasheed.

    lol. Rasheed Wallace.

I think we need to add Jason Williams, if you're going to add Marbury.

Larry Bird is in love with himself, i lost respect for the guy after seeing him sing his own praises in his autobiography. Also, Lebron thinks his **** doesn't stink.

I still don't understand why people choose to hate Wade.

    DAMN YOU CONVERSE [IMG]

    KG is confident.

My vote for cockiest player goes to Yao Ming. That dude screamed YES! after scoring a bucket. It's a good thing the officials t'd him up.

Actually, wasn't it Nike or Slam that gave Kobe the Mamba nickname?
