I hate it when crappy players get game winners. AI had that game won, but the nuggets just couldnt pull down the board. It shouldnt have even been that close of a game to begin with. I mean PJ BROWN had like 16 points!! thats just pathetic defense on our part.
Nuggets paid big time for this final offensive board. But nothing they can change now anymore. I hope they can make up for that missed chance tonight against Toronto, they need some away wins in this difficult series of road games.
From what i saw lasy night the nuggets would be a much better team if they stopped isolating so much. 80 percent of the plays were iso plays for nene ivo or melo. If they used their speed to their advantage by cutting and passing the ball they would be a championship contender. The talent is there but in a 7 game series constant isolations doesnt work. Maybe this team will mature a little befor the playoffs. I hope so because this team has potential but its up to them to play to it. By the way dont knock Ty for his hustle. You say that hes a garbage player but any team would love to have him on their team. His energy defence and work ethic is a rare thing in todays league.

This team needs to move the ball better and get out on the break. I think more than anything this team needs a new coach. This team has too much talent for the type of offense they run. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">By the way dont knock Ty for his hustle. Anyway, He probably doesn't care about making the game winning shot, hes just there to get his check.
The game is on the line and you have your top two rebounders (Nene is three) sitting on the bench. And Thomas was completely unguarded at the hoop. That's what pissed me off. So I agree with Answer_AI03; I think we need a new coach. George Karl may be an average coach or even a little bit better than average, but we need a really good coach.

But wasn't Camby out of the game already because of his back? You mean he should have been on the court nevertheless because it would have been only for the final play? (okay, never mind, I just read your opinion about that in your write-up)

Camby should have played the last two or three minutes unless he was in pain or unless the trainer said no way. If not Camby, then Evans, who should be playing a quarter a game anyway, should have been in. Melo had his man boxed out but the rest of the small lineup was not dependable enough in that situation and, sure enough, they blew it.
