You may notice on the highlights of Friday night's game how Bryant high-fived a young boy midway through the third quarter after hitting a sick 3-pointer from the left side with a defender draped all over him. I asked Kobe: Why the high-five? "It was a little kid, and he had said, 'What's up,' and I said, 'What's up' back. And I told him: 'Watch this 3. I've got a 3 for you.' "
I can't believe I said I like LeBron over Kobe. I got wrapped up into the hype. Kobe is amazing, he makes crazy shots that other NBA players would have a 20% (if not less) chance of making ... while they're open (referring to that shot against the blazers or whatever team he scored 65 against ... when he was double teamed, he went into one player and made him go back and spun off the other player and shot a 3 --- swish) Crazy.
Kobe is just sensational. Words really can't put justice to the type of streak he's having. At this time, he's having the best scoring streak I've seen this side of his nine straight 40+ games. The man is just incredible.

Seems like i will be expecting kobe to score 50 every night.... after 4 in a row, i am not as excited as when he got 60 last nite lol

What's amazing to watch is Kobe's ability to turn the crowd in his favor. All game long the Hornet fans were cheering on their team. When Kobe hit 40, and then 42, the Hornet fans started "Ohhing and Aaahing" everytime Kobe had the ball in his hand. It finally hit the fans they were watching a historic night and couldn't help, but get caught up in Kobe's frenzy.
