With the Heat's surge, we've put ourselves in a posistion to win the division, being only a half game out currently from 1st place. Here are a few possible outcomes: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"><ul> [*] Heat win the division and get the 3rd seed and face Washington (6th) [*] Heat win the division and get the 4th seed and face Chicago (5th) (No homecourt) [*] Heat finish second in the division and get the 6th seed and face Washington (3rd) [*] Heat finish second in the division and get the 6th seed and face Toronto (3rd)[/list]</div>I personally would like to see us win the division and face Washington, with us having homecourt advantage. For that to happen, we would also have to finish with a better record than Toronto. I'm not sure what the tie-breaker situation with them is. However, although I'm a Raps fan first, the Heat against the Raps in the first round without homecourt, wouldn't be that bad also. Though, thinking long term it is better for us to get the best record possible so we can give ourselves the best chance to get homecourt in the 2nd and 3rd round.
haha, i was just about to make basically the same thread. i could see us taking our division, but it'll be really close. if we play washington, we can definitely win as long as we stop gilbert. chicago, im not sure. cuz they pwned us in the season-opener, but we did the same to them a few weeks ago. and we should be able to take care of toronto.
Well I think we can beat any of those three teams. I think we are going to win the division and take out Washington in the first round.
Looks more and more like we'll be facing the Cavs in the first round. Not bad; it's better than facing the Bulls IMO, which was the situation we were in around the time I made this thread. This would probably be the most watch series with Wade dueling against James.

Two of maybe the top 5 players int he NBA go head to head. It could go all the way to the wire this one, but I've got the Heat going through...</font>
