<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Isiah Thomas' frustration with Steve Francis' game keeps rising as does Francis' frustration with Thomas' handling of his minutes.

After playing 20 minutes in Friday's lackluster 90-68 loss in Cleveland when the Knicks scored a season-low in points, Francis, unsolicited, raised the issue of his playing time. Francis was benched the final quarter-and-a-half.

"Not playing, not being on the court, it's tough," Francis said. "That's the hardest thing for me. I'm only doing what I can do. My stuff is not always about scoring. I don't have to be scoring to be effective."

Francis scored 16 points in back-to-back defeats to the Trail Blazers and Cavaliers. The flaky Francis added, "You play 20 minutes, be happy with 20 minutes, get home and be happy with my family." Last week, Francis called himself the team scapegoat, saying, "When things aren't going well, who else would be the donkey that they pin the tail on than myself. It's been like that since I've been here."

Francis' struggles and controversial remarks only increase the chances of the Knicks buying him out this summer.</div>

Francis had his prime..and is not nearly as good anymore. His presence would slightly help, but not dramatically.

I actually tried to delete this post, and remembered I don't have mod controls in here lol.

Helped the team how? The Knicks are improved from last seaon by a small margin, and he's been injured for the majority of the year. So what has he done to "help" the Knicks?

From his perspective, maybe Francis did.. ?

Do you really delete posts that you dont agree with? Cuz that would be BS.

Despite an 8-game improvement, I don't think we only improved by a small margin. We should have at least 4-5 wins if Lee, Crawford, and Q didn't go down at such an untimely fashion. From January to win Crawford went down, we were a couple of games over .500.

I still don`t know why they even traded for Steve Francis. It didn`t make any sense.

    It was Larry Brown's idea.

He also wanted to trade David Lee, Penny Hardaway (expiring contract), and a first rounder to Portland for Theo Ratliff and Ruben Patterson.

What a mistake that would've been.

Then he should explain it. One liner posts that add nothing in the way of discussion are delete material in my opinion.

Not agreeing with the post has nothing to do with my desire to delete it. I was half joking anyways...hence the "lol". My point was that the post was lacking of any substance.

I agree that the on-court product is improved, but I'm judging the overall record.

Injuries aren't always a valid excuse imo. The Raptors have had a string of key injuries all season long, and have barely played any games with a full roster. Injuries are a part of an NBA season, and a team's depth and talent level should balance out an injured player.
