<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Paul Pierce turns 30 in roughly seven months, and for the first time in his career, he?s missed major time (24 games) to injury this season.

No wonder the Celtics' captain has morphed into Hamlet. One day he wants to shut it down for the season, and the next - as he announced Friday night -Pierce decides he has missed enough time and will play out the string.

But Pierce, who yesterday said he plans to meet with the team medical staff tomorrow to discuss his options, sounds like he has hit a mid-career crisis. He admits to being conflicted.

?That?s how it is when you?re a competitor every night,? he said. ?Sometimes, I can?t even stand still.? </div>

They need to trade this guy, he is wasting away his prime on this team. He should take second to anothr superstar, lik Iverson. Or he can go to a team that is a contendar.[IMG]
