The game is about to start, here at 7:30PM or well after.

A win tonight for the Warriors can help erase last night's loss. I think the late season Warriors/Spurs matchups seem to be good and close. Hopefully this one will be the same and the Warriors will then be able to steal a game from the Spurs at home.

Man, I'm not liking this... we're allowing 60% from the field... but what are we going to do? It's the Spurs.

Man, this is has been the worst defense I've seen the W's playing in weeks.

Part of it is Nellie, tonight. There's NO way you will stop Duncan unless you double him with TWO bigs. But Nellie refuses to give in. He sticks with small ball no matter what, and tonight the Warriors have been swiss cheese in the middle.

The alternative? He should be playing Powell alongside either Beans or Foyle. And, he SHOULD NOT be putting Jrich at the SF, lol? WTF is that Nellie? You're not going to beat the Spurs by being "tricky" or clever with your "mismatch" lineups. The Warriors are obviously not beating the Spurs with speed, because it is negated with every made shot.

Harrington is just the smallest 6'9" in the league. I love his work ethic and shooting, but he just plays flatfooted and has no bang inside. He should be playing SF, dammit, and maybe the Warriors shouldn't try to be a fast break team at times, because the Spurs are making it look silly.

Nellie needs to give up speed to gain size at times. He just refuses, though.

There's nothing Nelly can do, guys aren't shooting and we don't have any quality size. It's like in Chess, the other side has all the knights and queens, we got one rook, a bishop, and a bunch of pawns. We just don't have the pieces to matchup and counterattack a team like San Antonio.

P.S. I sort of forgot how fukin horrible Foyle is. It makes me sick to think there's almost $10 mils there, just sitting on the bench, in a guy who is so inept the coach is hesitant to play him even in garbage time.

Having Foyle is basically like having a $10 mils smaller cap than every other team, because GS gets absolutely nothing -- not even good a practice player, or a good 6 fouls, absolutely nothing -- for al that $$.

I was at the Clippers Warriors game in LA, and instead of warming up or practicing post moves or something before the game, Foyle was shooting bline fade-away threes for airballs and doing stupid behind-the-back bricks on layups. It was like he didn't even take the game -- or that $10 mils -- seriously. He was just laughing, having a gay old time, tossing up airballs and windmill layups that would go off the side of the backboard and not touch rim. He looked like he was stoned.

The real shame is that Nellie ACTUALLY needed him in the second half, and Foyle was still trying to digest that large pizza he ate before the game, or something, because it looked like he forgot there was even a professional sporting event to be played that day. When he got in the game it was just turnover, foul, turnover, get scored on, sit back down. He was basically just a disgrace to the game and all the fans, especially the little kids that were wanting his autograph.

It's pretty sad because Foyle is supposed to be a good guy and all, but he basically just took a big sh!t on the game of basketball that day.

There is no disputing Foyle's contract being horrible. It was fun rooting for Foyle when he had a cheaper contract. But since his pay-day and commanding more PT a few years ago, he's never really stepped up like a winner or a vet. After reading your comments, the question is, we decided to pay Foyle this money but not Dampier? Dampier wasn't anything great as a competitor, but this makes Foyle just look like a joke. That offseason of signing Fisher and Foyle to those big contracts was rediculous, and then Dunleavy that offseason or the offseason after were insane.

But I don't know, the season is about over now. I guess baseball season is getting ready to start soon. The NCAA Tournament looks alright, and the NBA draft should be coming sooner or later...

Well, if GS had a good back-up center for that $10 mils -- even a guy like Francisco Elson -- damn they'd be SO much better. To think Nellie had a servicable back-up center and could use Powell at PF when need be. But with Foyle, I mean SH!T even Powell passed him on the depth chart for the center position. That is a SAD statement that a toss-in prospect from a trade immediately passes up your franchise $10mils center on the depth chart, lol.

Who signed Foyle again? Didn't we all know he was no starting center worth nearly 9 mil a year to begin with?

Again, if Mullin hadn't blundered so early in the game, maybe we'd be doing better right this minute. Instead, before he even knew what he had, he locked up guys for 6-7 years and made it so the cost would be high to remove those contracts.

Then he chose a coach that nba players won't listen to, which then changed to Nelly who basically would can the whole roster except for Baron or Biedrins.

    Oh yeah, Ellis rocks

If we can draft another 2nd rounder that has Ellis upside that would be sweet.

I was totally hoping the Warriors could draft a guy like Andray Blatche or Ersan Illyasova or somebody that could turn out to be a player in the 2nd round. Maybe another Zarko?

I'm going to the Suns game tomorrow. I hope they can put up some big points. Until then, my favorite teams are the teams playing the Clippers, Denver, and the Hornets.
