Ariza wanted to straighten out his former NBA teammate.

On Saturday, Ariza's UCLA Bruins face Lee's defending champion Florida Gators in the Final Four -- a rematch of last season's title game.

"I'll find David," said Ariza, who played with Lee last season in New York before being traded to the Magic. "I'm sure he does think Florida's got it. Bruins got the best team."

Lee already had launched the first salvo in the Knicks locker room.

"I already have the Gators in my bracket and going all the way," said Lee, who is out with a high ankle sprain. "Last year, I had them out in the second round. They were a young team, and I thought they'd have a tough time winning."

Ariza played for UCLA for just one season, 2003-04. Lee played at Florida from 2001-2005. With the Knicks' blessing, Lee attended last year's title game in Indianapolis to see his Gators beat Ariza's Bruins 73-57.

"The better team will win this time," Ariza jabbed. "I'm going to tell him that."</div>

He is right though, the better team will win this time. The only difference is that the Gators are still the better team.
