<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">So, based on +/- stats, what duo best helps the Nets when they're on the floor, whose game helps the team gain leads and keep them? Carter and Kidd? Nope. Kidd and Jefferson. No again. Carter and Jefferson. Sorry. According to the stats mavens at 82games.com, the combination that works best is Carter and...Jason Collins! In fact, Collins has the highest +/- rating of any Net. Worst combination? Carter again...with Antoine Wright. And the worst individual +/- this year? Cliff Robinson.</div> Source Collins? Do they pull these stats out their asses?
I remember during the Magic-Nets game, our announcers were ripping Collins apart. They're like, "He's gotten playing time since Nenad Krystic went down but he's not that productive. (laughs) He's the kind of guy whose out there just for his six fouls and at least he knows how to use those wisely." I was cracking up but it must suck to be him. Also, these types of stats are misleading so I'm not surprised by these results.
Jason Collins in 23.4 MPG: 2.1 PPG 4.2 RPG 0.6 APG 3.5 PF 37.5% FG, 47.5% FT Believe those stats right there.
