Sorry about the lack of a game thread. I had no idea they were playing tonight. This is a big matchup, regardless, as both teams are tied for 3rd in the East. The Raps came out on fire tonight, though, and are surprisingly dominating the Heat on the boards. They're shooting well, but Humphries has been the man so far, making his presence felt in the post. Toronto leads 71-49 with 5 and a half minutes left in the 3rd quarter.
Couple of funny moments involving Peterson. He got the ball thrown at his face and when he shot a free throw it was stuck for like 5 seconds. BTW, Kris Humphries is getting the Steve Nash treatment.
Great to see us control the game and rack up a win. Looks like the magic number is going to stay at 6 with Nets winning today.

Well right now the number of games left is 11. The total decreased by 1 between this game and last game as we won. So all we have to do is win enough and new jersey lose enough to equal 6 and we're in. I think it's a relative lock at this stage but it's still fun to watch considering we haven't been in the playoffs for a while.
It's puzzling how they can look so good one game and look so bad the next. Basically if they're hitting their shots they can blow out anyone but if they're not, we can't even beat the worst teams (ie. Boston).

That's why even the worst teams have SOME wins.
Toronto just dominated, haven't seen Raptors play alot but they played great last night. It was an important game for both teams, but Toronto seemed to want it more last night; that was the worst I've seen the Heat play, ever.

We don't even have a chance to win if our shots are not there. Good teams still find a way to win or at least make a game of it. Since the all-star break there have been games when they struggle to hit shots in the first half and you don't even need to watch the rest of the game, you know they're going to lose. We're still 7-3 in our last 10 games with all our injuries so I'm not going to complain. This is still a young team.
You guys are going to be scary in the playoffs I think. I think the only downfall will be lack of experience.
