<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">At last year's Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, then-Marquette University forward Steve Novak got the attention of NBA officials in a big way.

"In the second, third and fourth games, he was burning it up,'' said Mahlon Parker, the PIT's executive committee chair."He was burying his 3s.''

Novak's impressive showing at Portsmouth made a distinct impression on NBA officials in attendance and helped the 6-foot-10 forward get drafted in the second round by the Houston Rockets last June.

At this year's PIT, which will be held April 4-7, Wisconsin's Kammron Taylor is hoping to make a similar favorable impression on NBA scouts. The Badgers' 6-foot-2 guard was among 64 college seniors chosen for the event.

Taylor enjoyed a solid senior season for the Badgers. He averaged 13.3 points and shot 42 percent from the field, 38 percent from 3-point range and 79 percent from the line.

"We're happy to have Kammron,'' Parker said. "He's got a good head on his shoulders; he's a smart basketball player. He played second fiddle to (Alando) Tucker at Wisconsin, but he played very well in their system and was very adept at getting the ball to the right guys.

"The NBA people really want to see what he can do here.''</div>

[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] @ the thought Kam has any chance at the NBA. He shoots the three pretty well as long as no one is close to guarding him. That's ALL he does. Oh, and he can get to the basket and not finish, only hope for a foul call.

[IMG] Kam wouldn't have had to do so at the end of the game had he made, you know, one or two baskets in the 1st half. The guy is a clown. He just dicks around until the end of the game and then acts like a star. You have to see him over the couse of a whole season in order to truly understand how annoying a player he is.

I did [IMG] I don't know if it was me trying some subconsious reverse-psycology on him, or if it was just because the pic looked cool and I already had Alando in my sig. Whatever the case, it didn't work [IMG]

And with the 55th pick in the draft the Milwaukee Bucks select Kammron Taylor from the University of Wisconsin. [IMG]
