The last thing they need to do before an important road trip is slip up in Sunday's home game against the lowly Charlotte Bobcats. Toronto (40-32) has posted victories over Southeast Division contenders Miami (39-33) and Washington (38-33) in its last two games to move ahead of both teams in the Eastern Conference standings. The Atlantic Division-leading Raptors need to finish ahead of those two clubs in order to ensure the third seed in the East, which would give them home court in at least the first round. Toronto's magic number to clinch the Atlantic is three. The Raptors can move closer to that goal by finishing off a three-game season sweep of Charlotte (28-45). They won the first two games by an average of 19.0 points, with All-Star forward Chris Bosh averaging 22.0 points in those contests.</div> <div align="center">Link <font face=""Verdana""><font size=""3"">Projected Starters</font></font> TJ Ford - Anthony Parker - Joey Graham - Chris Bosh - Rasho Nesterovic <font face=""Verdana""><font size=""3"">Reserves</font></font> Jose Calderon - Darrick Martin - Juan Dixon - Morris Peterson - Luke Jackson - Uros Slokar - Pape Sow - Kris Humphries <font face=""Verdana""><font size=""3"">Coach</font></font> Sam Mitchell <font face=""Verdana""><font size=""3"">Injuries</font></font> Andrea Bargnani (appendectomy); Jorge Garbajosa (left ankle) <font face=""Verdana""><font size=""3"">Projected Starters</font></font> Raymond Felton - Matt Carroll - Gerald Wallace - Walter Herrmann - Emeka Okafor <font face=""Verdana""><font size=""3"">Reserves</font></font> Brevin Knight - Derek Anderson - Adam Morrison - Sean May - Ryan Hollins - Jake Voskuhl - Primoz Brezec <font face=""Verdana""><font size=""3"">Coach</font></font> Bernie Bickerstaff <font face=""Verdana""><font size=""3"">Injuries</font></font> None <div align="center"> <font face=""Tahoma""><font size=""4""> Prediction</font></font> Raptors win by 8.</div> <font size=""4""><font face=""Tahoma"">Something to look at while you wait for the game</font></font> </div>
I really can't find anything wrong with that game. The Raps outplayed Charlotte in just about every aspect and were great. Very entertaining and methodical win. We just clinched a playoff spot!
BACK IN THE PLAYOFFSSSSSSSSS!!! I actually like our chances to getting into the 2nd round if we face the Wizards.
The Raptors are back baby! Playoff countdown starts! I didn't get to watch the game though. RTV Magic Number is now 3 to clinch the division!
^ lol, thanks. I wish I could've seen the expression on his face when he was calling that game. <div class="quote_poster">GoldRanger Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">The Raptors are back baby! The Bobcats never threatened to take the lead and the Raptors rebounded, defended, and scored well. It was a good sign, because good teams take care of games like that. The bad news is that we got more games on RapsTV towards the end of the season. I don't know why they worked it out like that, but 4 of our last 9 are on it and there's a week-long stretch of 3 games on RTV.
Well i totally missed this game but it sounds like everything went well. I'll be interested to see how we do on our 3 game road stretch coming up.
Another nice win, i really hope we have washington for the first round of playoffs, Caron broke his hand!. Unfortunate for the Wizards, good news for Raps if we face them in the first round.
Nice all around win for the Raps. Bosh seems to be getting into playoff mode quite nicely. Crap Joey showed up again, which isn't a surprise at all. I think it would be difficult to find a more inconsistent player in the league.

I can't live without seeing some Raptors ball for a whole week. Only RTV game I got to see was the Washington game, which I was VERY lucky to watch. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Yea, Sportsnet seems like they aren't getting much Raptor games this season (Not that I care).</div> Yupp, they are only brodcasting a total of 8 games. Sucks. Oh well, Sportsnet IMO is the worst for BBALL out of TSN and The Score. They only recap Raptor games and none other. But for hockey they show all. That kinda ticks me off haha. /rant
I think TSN is much much worse than Sportsnet, at least they have NBA XL, even tho im not a big fan of it since Cabbie left. By next season the amount of games shown will rise because of our winning record and international players im pretty sure. Still, nothing comes close to The Score
TSN is horrible when it comes to basketball, all they do is show these ridiculous shows and hockey. Even though they are owned by ESPN.
That's not completely true, they are partially owned by ESPN ... the majority of the ownership is Bell Globe media. TSN should definately stick to hockey and give up on basketball, i'm tired of their useless coverage of the raptors. Their broadcast quality is certainly the best in terms of HD but watching Jay Onrait at half time is just painful. Plus practically every basketball recap on sportscentre is either 1) filler when there is no hockey on 2) about 10 seconds in length.

We really need Bargnani back. We should of thumped the Bobcats. I cant wait until Bargnani returns, he is a real key part of this team.
Out of all three channels, The Score is my personal favourite. TSN talks way too much hockey, and right now, I'm not feeling sportsnet's new show "Connected", they're all trying to be funny which isn't really their style.

I see your point, without Bargnani and Garbo, we are missing out a lot of height, but thankfully, Kris Humphries is getting the job done.
