The victory over the Sacramento Kings on Sunday was encouraging for this Laker team. The Lakers controlled the game from the start, took a commanding lead, gave it up, but then closed out strong. Prior to Sunday the Lakers had blown to large leads in the Warriors and Grizzlies game. The difference against the Kings, was the Lakers kept within their offense and defensive schemes and eventually won by a large margin. If you also noticed the Lakers roster is almost 100% healthy. When healthy this team can do a lot of damage and compete against anyone in the NBA. The Lakers also received notice Radman will be ready sooner than expected. He could return to play in the final week of the season for the Lakers, which adds even more depth heading into the playoffs. It's time for this team to finish strong and play at their peak heading into the post season.
Hopefully we can get our early season chemistry back in order and make some noise in this years playoffs. I won't be happy unless we get into the 2nd round. GO LAKERS!
Well its good, because they probably will be the underdog against whoever they play in the 1st round. (San Antonio or Phoenix or if they win like crazy Houston or Utah)
